    Not such a good lower hypertrophy workout today - missed out on calves because my guts decided to play up. After three trips to the bathroom, decided to call it quits. Am also feeling a bit tight from all the sitting I am doing. Calling this week a write off! Motivated and focused to get back on track next week. Eating is on par so not concerned about that area - more with weights.

    I don't have the most stable digestive system. Occasionally I get mass explosion! Annoying when it disrupts workouts though. But only so much churning you can deal with it and trips to the bathroom.

    Amazing what a good nights sleep can do...and knowing that I don't have to work on PhD changes this week. Pumped out an awesome upper hypertrophy day! Don't think increases are going to come easy while I'm eating under maintenance but at least I'm maintaining where I am.

    In great news - my knee is feeling HEAPS better! Gave it a couple of days off and the pain seems to have gone away. Biggest test will be on Thursday when I plan to do a 5km. Tomorrow is rest day! Definitely need it. Think the cutting + extra stress of RL is really playing havoc on my emotional state. Have gone back to eating at maintenance until things settle down. Will also take a deload after next week.

    Still sore at times especially when I squat but that horrible burning pain down my knee cap seems to have disappeared thankfully! My knee sits on an angle and only way to solve is an osteotomy but definitely not having that at this stage!

    Haven't weighed myself in weeks...I lost weight. I feel like I'm getting gaunt/skinny around my face but I'm still flabby around my midsection and arms! I know I can't spot reduce and feel like I'm going to have to live with being a bit doughy because I seem to be fading away despite cutting back on cardio.

    My health is just lousy at the moment. My bowels are a mess. Off to the specialist in just over 2 weeks. I don't think I'm going to be making much progress until I sort this out. Everyone keeps telling me I look tired and like I've lost heaps of weight. Not intentional - just don't feel hungry. I miss having the energy to work out properly just doing what I can!

    Been without a computer for a week! Went to the specialist yesterday. Looks like I'll be having an op in 3 weeks time and out of action from gym for a month. That's ok, its much less than I was expecting. Just trying to do the best I can at the moment with the little strength i have from not eating much. Still practicing my chin ups!
