I have a female friend that was considering Accutane to help clear her skin but it's not acne she suffers from. She's read the side effects and don't know if it's worth the risk considering it's more of an open pore issue rather than a closed pore like acne.

I use whatever feels right. Lame answer I know, but it changes alot based on how strict I am able to keep my form. Somedays it's just hard for me to get the mind-muscle connection to work and force the object muscle to do the work. On those days I will move heavier weights and get a worse workout.

For perspective though, in the past 2 years I haven't done more than:
225lb for 10 reps of squats -(before could do 28 with 315)
185lb for 10 reps of bench - (before could do 18 with 225)
35's for 10 reps of curls - (before could "curl" 100's for sets of 10) - this is all at anywhere from 20-40lbs heavier than then too

It's not unusual for me to finish a chest workout with 135 and fail on sets of 10. When you manipulate your body to make the lift as inefficient as possible and make the object muscle do all the work light weight gets crazy heavy crazy fast. I get alot of odd looks when I go to new gyms when I travel, but I don't really care.

this is best post in the entire thread, especially about making muscle mind connection and adapting your body to the weights to get that connection, not just some fixed number. That is literally the only way to make it natty

2 year mark there. Lower body isn't as good but been working on it hard in the few months since I took that picture. Diet isn't too good, don't train often enough either.

I'm not saying you have to to 7x/week (that would be increibly negative for a natty, trust me I've tried it, the losses were significant)
But there is a tremendous differnce between keeping on track and taking months at a time off
There is an even bigger differnce in being dedicated or just going through the motions and doing whatever

The misc is full of guys who have been "working out" for X years and have "peaked", but have never really "trained" in thier lives

you misunderstood my post completely. I was just saying some people care too much what total strangers think so they feel the need to explain so people dont say "your only that big after all these years". Essentially trying to explain to sh*t talking inexperienced lifters so..My post wasnt directed at any specific person though

I have to disagree though, going in and just doing the motions is still training, your maintaining, thats training. No one goes hard every week, especially natty, unless you want to be fuked

14 years total. really strict with diet and everything last 10, "perfect" diet and training habits for the last 3 (cheating maybe 2-4 times each year, not counting the occasional wine)
