Humans simply don't have any means to damage a gorilla.. while the gorilla has enough strength to literally tear off limbs and some vicious fangs on top of that.

Not to mention the fact that the gorilla's skeleton is much stronger than a human's. MMA fighters regularly break their own chit when striking eachother, can you imagine what would happen if they hit bones that are twice as big/strong? Punches would leave them with broken hands and if it wildly swings it's arm into your leg while you're kicking then say goodbye to your shinbone.

As for submissions.. you'd get folded up like a pretzel. It's got more strength in it's bicep than we have in our entire posterior chain.
