L-Citrulline vs Citrulline Malate?

What's the difference? Checking the difference between Pre JYM & Scream.

Pre JYM: 6g Citrulline Malate

Scream: 3g L-Citrulline

For the purposes that we use Citrulline for, we are only worried about L-Citrulline. The malate doesn't add any benefit for what you and others are using it for.

Same thing except that you only need half the dose for L-Citrulline.

Not always. According to the Jym website, Pre Jym has a 2:1 ratio of citrulline to malate, meaning that 6g of citrulline contains 4g of citrulline, not 3.

False. Citrulline Malate has added benefits over just Citrulline. Also, in this case Pre JYM uses Cit Mal 2:1 yielding more total citrulline than Scream. Both products are solid though OP. Very similar.

lol again, not true. The Malic Acid plays a role in the Krebs cycle and produces aerobic energy via ATP.

In terms of the two products listed Pre JYM will yield more.

In terms of the effects I would say they arent much different. Both are solid pres.

From Cooper on another forum:

"There aren't any documented effects of malic acid in healthy humans (only failed ergogenesis). If you have some sort of cardiopulmonary disorder, malate may help, but otherwise, it's the citrulline that matters."

What I was talking about in the above statements was the Malic Acid (Malate) isn't going to do anything for a "pump" which is one of the main reasons people supplement with it.

go to high dose cit mal then take just citrulline at the supposed same dosage that you would get in cit mal and it wont work the same for some reason. i used to like cit mal until i just dosed the hell out of citrulline and its 100000000000000 times better
