For the first year and a half to two years I was in, I got told at basic , AIT and wlc about how they were going to be changing the pushup stance to "ranger pushups" where you have your elbows against your side basically. They enforced it as regulation, when it has never been one and won't be one.

Reserves guy called me up again today and informed me that I'm still in their system. 7 months of chair force checks says otherwise. I guess I really should send them a split request form for muster?

Wore Army issue boots today, my god. It's turrible. Miss my Altamas so bad. Damn TRADOC and spending more time talking to us about proper boots than the CCC and masters programs we're in :/

Can confirm am TRADOC (only few more months). Boss had dropped a "care package" off at work and we all just laughed. Ordered myself some of the new Nike 6" boots. They look pretty interdasting. Would be good I suspect for daily wear or trolling around a FOB but wouldn't trust my life in them.

For my money nothing will ever be as comfortable as old Merrell Sawtooths, and LOWA's.

Switch units. That kind of unit mentality is how ****bags become leaders.

I'd send him the blank form and have him fill it out. When it comes back jacked up make him correct it. Rinse/repeat until it's something worth your time to quickly edit before submission.

Last PT test I took I got failed because I stopped doing situps at 100 and just got up. They were like "you have to do them until 2 minutes is over or you fail" and failed me. 0 fuks given.
