Thread update. She's 20 and has had 26 partners.

I'm not sure what to feels. Perfect otherwise. Keeps telling me she just hasn't met the right guy yet. Has commitment issues because of being treated poorly in past relationships. I'm a smart guy and I can smell bull**** when I see it and everything she says seems legit

Most of her past relationships were around 2 months. The commitment issues arises from being treated poorly in the past. I'm essentially the ultimate nice guy or loser according to the misc and she sees me in a different light. Although she does not want to commit until she knows I'm not just putting on a show. If you don't want to end up as one of these guys who has sex with their wife about three times a year, then you're gonna need to find a girl who enjoys sex and is open-minded and confident enough to keep it spicy over the years. Such girls are often going to want to run a sloot phase at some point in their lives. If you catch her prior to said sloot phase, it could lead to frustration and resentment on her part, and ultimately cheating/break up. If you catch her after, then she's more likely to have got it out of her system, and be experienced and wise enough to know whether or not you offer what she needs long term, hence no frustration, resentment and less chance of cheating, but then you need to be able to accept her past.

The way I see it is that as long as the girl has had some standards, has been safe and clean, hasn't messed people around and is self-assured enough to be honest about it, then you've got evidence of a fair few positive attributes of the sort that are going to be required if it's going to work long term. You forget that different populations have different characteristics.

Control for political affiliation,socioeconomic status,big five personality traits,ect and you'll see how things are less clearcut.

Traditional people are less likely to divorce even if they're less happy(the virgin brides) and people with a lot of partners are more likely to be liberal.

Good point re hs/college slots. Maybe there is such a thing as a 'natural sloot' who has been slooting since forever and will keep slooting forever more, and can possibly be differentiated from the 'experimental sloot' by the age at which they go through a sloot phase.
