I feel that I have a very low caloric maintenance considering my size and lifestyle.
I am 5'10.5" 198lbs, 24 years old. I workout 5 days per week. I have a pretty sedentary lifestyle outside of the gym (office job 38-40 hours per week).
My caloric maintenance is 2,400 calories.
Please list your height/weight/age/lifestyle/caloric maintenance level.

5'6'', 26 years old, mid-120s weight [not sure exactly], very active (walk a lot + lift 3 x per week + cardio training 6 x per week), maintenance is also around 2300-2500 (+/- depending on training load; during high volume training it is higher)
ETA this thread is very interesting. It seems activity level is a greater determinant of intake than body size...Last edited by shesprints; 06-06-2014 at 06:36 PM.

22 years old; 6'0; 200lbs.
- Hybrid (PL + BB) routine; either 5 times or 6 times a week.
- LISS cardio 7 times a week, ranging from 60-120 minutes.
- Occassional hike or walk.
- A lot of mobility and stretching work.
- Sedentary lifestyle.
Estimated to be around 3k calories; could be 200 less or more.
Would also like feedback on this number.

I think that's probably pretty accurate. You and I are around the same age/height/weight but you do 1-2 hours of low intensity cardio 7 times per week. I guess that would justify another 600 calories/day for me if I did the same.
I thought that I had a relatively low maintenance but I see now that is not so much the case.

5'8, 170 pounds, 25 years old, weight+lately cardio training, pretty much daily. Have no idea what exactly my body fat is , but it tends to be lowish. My maintenance is insane, anywhere between 4500-5000 kcals. Aside from the gym I have days when I sit in front of the pc 24/7 and other days when I am pretty much on my feet the whole time. It's not even hard for me to eat that much, I love food !

I'm 23. 5'9'' and 140lbs. My maintenance is 2500 calories.
I try to get a workout in 7 days a week. Usually I lift 6 days per week and just do cardio on the 7th. Or I'll take a rest day.
Lifestyle is semi-active. I don't sit on my butt all day.I like personal responsibility and accountability. When you admit you are the problem you are simultaneously admitting you are the solution.
