    Hey thread,

I am trying to replace my rearsets on my '08 Honda CBR125r - I have the replacement part all ready to go but i can't figure out how to remove the shifter arm from the rearset on the left side. Any chance someone knows how to remove it?

I thought maybe it would screw on, but nope, i think maybe its some kind of clip or something... I am stumped.

A lot of shifters require you back the tightening bolt completely out of the shifter as an extra step for it to come off in case it comes loose while riding.

It'll most likely have a little circlip that you need to remove before the gear rod will pop off from the rearset. Hard to explain without a picture of the clip I guess. You literally pop it off and then pull the pin out of the connecting part and it should pop off.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I can see a circlip on the outside. How exactly do i pop that off in a manner that will allow me to reuse it when i re-install it ?

Find the end of it, and just flick it back and it should pull out. I've never had an issue re-using any of mine.
