Any basic research will show you that no true 1:1 replica can be bought for only a fraction of the price. You cant get a replica with a quality as high as an original for only a fraction. Maybe you can get a decent, or a good watch with visually no difference for 10 or 15% of the original's price, but no 1:1 will cost you a small fraction.

A true exact replica will be worth something closer to the real deal, and if you are gonna go to that length you may as well buy the original.

And its the same argument, a watch can be bought both for collecting or using. Its not like watches lose value when they are taken off their original packages. The fact is, a replica will be worthless and probably useless in 10 years, an original will hold its value.

You clearly dont know anything about watches though and you have bought one or two cheap replicas and think you are an expert. I can recommend you one or two books about watches, their value, functioning, history etc that could direct you in a better direction, so next time you are discussing about this you dont come off as a complete posing ignorant.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but majority of modern watches doesn't appreciate in value anymore, especially rollies. Even if they hold it relatively well, it will be eaten up by the inflation in the years to come. They don't appreciate anymore.

High-end replica will run you a couple hundred, one grand max depending on the model. That is just a fraction of a price, depending on the watch.

10-15% wouldn't make any sense for the buyer, you pulled it out of your ass son.

If you are a collector or watches are your hobby, I guess you can justify paying the price tag, but otherwise its simply stupid from the financial point of view.
