Which some moderators make up as they go, which is a huge part of the problem. I remember when some moderator started banning users because they violated some "rule" he - and he alone - had made up and put in his sig.

Mods are allowed a degree of personal interpretation.

Not to suck anyone's dink, but I found the mods to be really good at what they do. They don't get involved in political threads(at least they don't net for opposing opinions), and they're spot on about who they ban as well as retracting their human errors by unbanning and giving high reps as consolation. Plus, there always seems to be a method to their madness, and I've come to accept that their decisions are probably best. Its like having that parent that seems to have arbitrary rules, but u learn as u get older why they do the things that they do. Now, that isn't to say that there isn't corruption, as there are srts and such, but the more I misc, the more I become fascinated with this community and its similarities to the real world.

I can understand you deal with a lot of rubbish and dont have time to give a reason to every thread you delete but in those with less clear rule breaking (I presume mine was) it would help prevent future offenses.
