Today was of course leg day.... and being that I am working the night shift now, I felt like crap when I woke up. Almost took another rest day, but said screw it, dialed up some Hell Yeah tunes for the drive to the gym, got the adrenalin flowing and brutalized my legs! Damn I feel good!

My buddy and his wife are health conscious about their nutrition. This is good. However, since they were talking about the Easter candy they bought their kids, and I am the godfather to their kids, I decided to buy some Easter candy for them also as a belated Easter present. Got to their house and they started talking about how they didn't get too much candy and they are glad it is gone. So guess who now has a drawer at home filled with Snickers and Reese's peanut butter cups.

Military press and Volume squats this AM went good, great energy this AM. Made the macro targets for today, getting harder though. Just got to look at the bright side, it is temporary, only a few weeks to go.
Knocked food scale off counter yesterday. Powered it up and no prob. This am put some oats on it and stuck on 0. Crap! Have another on the way now.

What's going on everyone. Just got home from the gym, feeling awful, having a relapse from the stuff I had about a week in half ago or so. Was really motivated to hit the gym though after being out of town and the gym all of last week while in So Cal for a work training. Everything felt heavy, was getting light headed after every set and on top of everything the gym was about as packed as I've seen it. Ended up hitting some cardio prior to weights just because every bench and machine was literally taken. Was limited on what I got in so I worked more sets than usual, switching grips, tempos up etc.

Awesome news.
Hard at it here, although it looks like its squats and running for me for at least the remainder of this competition. No upper body workouts for at least the next three weeks I've got a bad case of tennis elbow in my left elbow and my busted right shoulder has flared up so physio has advised I rest both for at least a few weeks.
