What differentiates the aesthetics of powerlifters vs bodybuilders

I don't mean fat %, I choose 2 people, who look around the same muscular size, one obviously has a fairly lower fat %. However their body composition is completely different.

One looks like something girls would drool over, the other looks like the scariest prison inmate ever. Not by their face, just their bodies. Does anyone know the actual explanation for the huge difference in aesthetics?

I think the powerlifters give off a strong person atmosphere, they look strong and are strong,
some BBers don't have much of that strong guy look,I'm confident if a Powerlifter goes for BBing he can get far.
The dude in second pic looks decent to me,I don't think you can compare though a BBer and a PLer with these 2 pics.

Lmaoooo you chose Konstantine for your comparison. Konstantine is aesthetic AF.

But to answer your question, one focuses on the big 3, the other focuses strictly on everything you can think of. But they're both at much different bodyfat %s. Not a fair comparison.

The guy looks different because of genetics. Not because he powerlifts instead of bodybuilds lmao. Muscle is muscle.

Only difference between them is bodyfat percentage and isolations

Thats what I thought, however powerlifters give off a real strength look.

    EXAMPLE:

I now live in Glasgow, where my gym is filled with powerlifter. I previously lift in cyprus where everyone was on gear and is a bodybuilder.

The powerlifters give off a much more manly (no homo) and nicer type of atmosphere. I have completely converted from bodybuilding towards lifting because of this. Powerlifters I see are much more manlier and realistic, and not as superficial about certain things.

Well the body fat plays a big role, although KK is fairly lean the other guy you posted is a lot leaner... shaven and covered in oil, water and make up since it looks like he's a part of a photo shoot so a lot of tips and tricks will most likely be used to make him look more defined etc etc.

Another thing is powerlifters train differently, they do not train to look good, they train to be stronger at the three competition lifts so their training will be planned to target specific muscle groups more than others. Powerlifters don't need big biceps for example, although they are used to help stabilise in the bench press they are unlikely going to add much to their total. Also a powerlifters routine incorporates more lower rep work as well as more focus on compound movements and less on isolations etc etc.

There isn't a big difference if we are talking Natties. Take a good Bodybuilder and a Powerlifter both at the same bodyfat level and there won't be a big difference. The Bodybuilder will probably be more "aesthetic" as that is what they train for though.
    yolo- you only lift once

This. The huge difference between the two is for non-natties, in which case do your research outside of this site.

Both use gear. However powerlifters (on anyone with big numbers) generally use less because your body responds best to progressive overload and caloric surplus, which is required to gain strength. That's why you see guys like Arnold and Ronnie Coleman who could squat 700+lbs and as a result won all these bodybuilding competitions and won't have been using as much gear as a modern day guy with weaker lifts.

bf % and muscle fibres become much more compressed from powerlifting style training giving a 'thicker' look, as opposed to BB style with isolation exercises which lead to muscle separation
