    PWO before or after warmup?

I run about a mile or so before every workout as a warm up. Would it be better to wait and take a pwo before I do that or after to keep from having a "burn off" effect?

I have taken a PWO before running before. It's not a good idea. Personally I use the first couple sets of my work-out as my warm-up. I take my PWO about 15 minutes prior. If you are dead set on running a mile as your warm up your options leave you with possibly burning through part of your PWO during your run (not to mention the fun it produces if you use a stimmed one), or running/taking the PWO/start lifting and have it kick in after you have been lifting for a little bit.

I would personally save your cardio for post training as you may deplete your self a bit before the weights. Seeing your run may only be 7-10 minutes or so that would be a good enough time to let it kick in before starting your weights. Should be fine.

Taking stims prior to running.. you may have a hard time catching your breathe as your heart rate will be increased. This can also affect the ladder (gym session).
You can either take your preworkout a few minutes prior to weightlifting (not cardio) or as Chef Bob mentioned, you should save your cardio for post-training.. as you will be feel depleted after a mile run.

When I do take a pre, I drink it throughout my cardio warm up and I'd finish drinking it during my first warm up set.

I would use your preworkout before you start anything. This will give it time to kick in before your weights.
If you not feeling the burn your not pushing hard enough.

Go by how it feels for you but I would do it before. Then by the time you get ready to workout its in your system. I never run before my workouts but I do take a solid 10 to 15mn to warm up especially on leg day and dead lift day.
