    squats

I'm getting to SRS numbers in the squat but now I'm starting to get scared of lifting heavy coz the weight seems to be too heavy for m back! Is this normal and if so do I need to strengthen my back to make it seem lighter? I do 10 to 12 reps but have a hard time walking back to put the weights.

How much are we talking? And having a hard time walking back is normal.

Dont worry, just squat within your bounds and use proper form and you'll be okay. Every time I squat I think it's too heavy and I wont be able to do it but I still add 5 pounds each session and it feels good. Also try increasing the weight but doing only 5 reps

Vids of said squats?I'm sure if you squat 330x10~12, you should have a good mentality by now and love lifting heavy weights. Either you're frauding or half squatting. No hate OP.

Thnx. Yh 6 reps wll feel even more heavy. Theirs safety pins that you can attach on the side just in case i cant do the rep so it can rest on it but im scared that it might break than I might be koed coz it doesnt look strong enough to hold the weight in m opinion. I thouht the weight wasn't meant to feel so heavy when standing. Guess I was wrong. Even safety pins seems scary.

Nah their good squats. Its annoying that i rly wanna post video but I can't do it on this stupid tablet. Havent got a PC. I do like lifting heavy. It just scared me for the first time last time I squatted coz it felt so heavy to damn walk and if it slips front no way I could get out without the pins that seem so fragile which doesn't help at all with my confidence!

Im sorry but at 179 pounds I find it extremely hard to believe you are hitting 330 for 10-12 reps... are you hitting decent depth? atleast to parallel? In for vids.....

If you can do it with correct form, then you're fine. Correct form meaning knees not over toes, hips and shoulders rising at the same pace, back neutral, etc.

knees are 100% allowed to go over your toes. there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

lol guys 330 isn't impressive. If he were to say 400 or over I might be skeptical. I am not trying to insult you OP, they are good numbers. Just don't see why everyone is disbelieving. Anyways just man up and squat. Safety pins will hold it fine. I've dropped the bar off my back with without a squat cage or anything. The world doesn't end.
    yolo- you only lift once
