Don't know how you can hate on Wichita St after that game...

I think it was about KY finally coming together at the right time and playing out of their minds...they were able to put themselves on the same level of Wichita St today.

Wichita st was not exposed as a bad team.

Manhattan did give them a really good fight, but their coach has been Pitino's protege for a long long time so he probably had a better strategic advantage versus Louisville than most would. After that game they beat St Lois by 15, though that team should never have been a 5-seed anyway.

If you use that format then any team left deserved a #1 seed. Prior to the start of the tournament, a few teams probably deserved it, using common sense. I realize they got one out of charity and that's fine but I bet the selection committee thinks twice before they give a charity #1 seed again.

lol louisville already lost to kentucky earlier this year by a wider margin. michigan state lost to that terrible ohio state team. you are losing more ground every time you post so it might be better if you slowly fade away until next week's games.

Seriously, they didn't play a ranked team the entire season, that's the point here. Strength of schedule was very very weak. Was it enough to take away a #1 seed from a perfect season? No, but also wasn't good enough to even be ranked higher than a team that lost twice.
