thanks, I did some more snatches yesterday and played around a bit my starting position. Will be back in today and will try moving my hips back, I'll try to get another video today as well to see if I'm looking better/worse.

Two videos of me from the Arnold both openers but all they had uploaded on CoachsEye.

    http://www.coachseye.com/DutU

    http://www.coachseye.com/WFsN

Any advice? I think it looks pretty slow but I defiantly feel I am a little more speedy when I need to be with heavier weights. The bottom position on my snatch didn't look very comfortable although it feels very comfortable, and the jerk is a work in progress, I think it looks a little better with heavier weights.

Ended up going 84 and 111, videos are 84 and 100.

Saw videos up on CoachsEye of a couple other bros that post on here, good stuff guys.

might be a muscle imbalance/deficiency if you cant physically keep your chest up. it actually looks decent, just the obvious "deadlift snatch"

what muscle would be deficient? I think it might be a result of me rushing the first pull. I did some snatch pulls yesterday that felt better but I am going to take a video today of me doing snatches or pull with a slower first pull and see if I can my chest stays up

edit: I got my USAW cert last weekend and the guys from Columbus weightlifting taught the course. They obviously mentioned my hips coming up but when I slowed it down (quite slow) it seemed to sort itself out

might be a muscle imbalance/deficiency if you cant physically keep your chest up. it actually looks decent, just the obvious "deadlift snatch"
I have been doing Epson salt baths twice a week and feel alright hit a PR set of ten back squat this week while saving some energy because I am going for another PR set of ten for my last week.

The pulls are by far the hardest thing for me so far for tens.

Nice, have thought about getting into training, but IDK. Gonna get my CSCS when I graduate, and will probably do at least a little of grad school (GI Bill time left) but IDK. Olive Drab is probably my 2nd favorite color (Marine in me showing)

Really only put the color question in there because 2 questions is kind of lame. I work at Lowe's on the weekends, I do not envy the **** that you might have to deal with, but if you just deal with inventory, you might avoid most of that ****.

Same deal (and person) as you with the programming/coach; obviously it's not that ideal but I enjoy it more than I did with my last "in-person" coach. Plus I think it will help to make us better lifters and in your case a better coach (me too, if I can get into that "business"). How did you get your wife to agree to house-dad? I need deets on that.

Final thoughts, figured more people here would be the full-time student/no job type. Interesting, I figured most of us were without a real-life coach as well.

I was a store manager at GNC for many years before switching to a big box location (Petco) about 5-6 mo ago. The main reason for the switch was I wanted something closer to home.

Actually I've kinda regretted it. Its just a log more actual work for me lol for the same pay.

I have an interview with the State March 31 for a nice sit-down job. I have a buddy who will help me get in. So fingers crossed on that.

so desperately want to get back to full squatting, powers pulls and box squats are getting very tedious

I hit a 105kg power clean in late January and I've never been able to hit it again since, only up to the region of 95-100. Has this ever happened to anyone? So frustrating.

yah. Tripling 70kg feels same difficultly as 1 75kg power snatch. Will try different reps out.
Is it possible that getting off creatine = lifts go down 10kg? just got some creatine again so I'll see if it makes that big a difference lol
