    that definitely makes sense, reps on spread. I have to give chins a try again sometime soon. I always did those to chest too. Sometimes would try to hold my last rep at the top for as long as possible

    Back in this thread.

    Running Lyle's Generic Bulking Routine with lowered volume for the best gains and most enjoyable training I've ever had in my life. Totally love it.

    My bench has gone from 175 x 5 to 195 x 5, squat from 205 x 5 to 230 x 5, and weighted chins from 10 lbs x 8 to 45 lbs x 5. So I'm doing okay. I've been taking it pretty easy though, drinking a lot and I've put on some fat.

    Considering actually doing a 5-6 week mini-cut, but I've only gained about 12 pounds. What do you guys think?

    Just eat healthy foods that will keep you full and are within your calorie range. Now that I'm bulking, I eat the same foods I did while cutting, except I've reintroduced starches into my diet (oatmeal, rice, high-fiber English muffin).

    Veggies work well to curb the hunger, good for you too.

    I am in the ninth week of a reverse diet and my appetite was raging for a while. Adding a big serving of berries to my dinner (which always includes a serving of vegetables) definitely helped keep me feeling fuller. I also do IF so I always go to bed relatively full.

    I buy frozen mangos from Costco and I eat it when it's just beginning to thaw. Tastes amazing as well as suppressing my appetite.

    How is it lying to myself? and I'm disappointed because I lost a lot of weight a couple of years ago and wouldn't have lost so much muscle if only I had lifted. I didn't think strength training was important because I just wanted my fat off, and now I'm paying for my stupidity.

    Because your trying to tell people you look different then you realy are, I beleave you can make it bro, we all made mistakes when we started lifting. I have wasted many of my lifting doing ineffected stuff and not tracking my macros. Yet I feel it was a realy good learning curve. But feel free to do what ever you like

    I see. I wonder if my current workout program is good. On BB there are always all these different programs being featured, and I can't help but wonder if something is wrong with what I'm currently doing. I currently do an upper/lower body split, where I do a 15-20 min. cardio warmup, then usually do 6-7 exercises where I alternate exercises between sets.

    I'm just a very impatient person and get discouraged when I don't see quick results, so I am frustrated. I don't believe in progress, I believe in end results. But there's no end in sight.

    When I hit the gym hard and under 1,5 hour and tracked my cals and macros I made the best gains I ever had. Just set half year goals or you might lose motivation.

    Its annoying, but this is a slow process, gaining muscle takes time, and actually seeing the change can be a long process, what I find helps, is enjoying the food you eat, and enjoying the training and the way you perform.

    This, 12-24 week goals are more realistic (If the goal is somewhat acheivable).

    Earlier this week I hit a PR of 95 X 8 on dumb bell flat bench. This is unbelievable for me. I was about to do my standard 4-5 reps when a random dude came up and started spotting me, encouraging me and stabilizing my arms if I started to lose balance. He kept me going and I knocked out 4 more after I was about to finish. Thanks random dude doing dumb bell shoulder presses next to me.

    Today I hit another PR by doing 315 X 8 on dead lift. Oh BTW, I started cutting too.
