That is when I pull my best wheelies. And nothing beats that feeling of the wind blowing up your pants. I do ride within my limits when I am around other road users. If I am alone I will hoon around. I do not believe in putting other peoples lives in danger for your own pleasure.
I ride in shorts and tshirt often. I wear closed shoes though now. I will wear jeans, an enduro jacket and boots in winter. My legs will never fit in leathers. That feel when you played a forward in rugby...

of course, bby
not sure if troll post or not....
I get the whole "Not endangering anyone but self" portion of the squid argument, but what I don't get is why you have so much disregard for your own body. I've got to assume that the risk/reward is in gear's favor, no? So, besides an "I do what I want, when I want" sort of attitude, what is the reasoning behind going out in sandals, t-shirts, and shorts?*LF Chat Crew

Agree. The GSXR's weakpoint has always been their ugly headlights. Can't stand them, but I think the rest of the bike is aesthetic.

I used to have an AVI of my traps and neck. I changed it a while back and tried editing my user title but this website is glitched and it will not let me change it anymore.

What the **** man. Cleaning my air filter and was looking over the bike. Rear sprocket is already hooked.
I just put on new chain and sprockets, i wanna say less than 2k miles ago. But definitely less than 3k.
This cant be normal, right? How many miles should i get out of 520 pitch steel sprockets?
I expected more wear due to 520 pitch and shorter gearing (-1 +2), but this is bull****

All sportbike headlights look stupid with the least stupid being the new panigale, and the most stupid being the S1000RR derpface. Everything looks better as a racebike. Which, then, makes me irate that WSBK is running headlight stickers this year which looks even worse than a real headlight!

I know I don't like one headlight. That's part of what attracted me to the SV650S in the first place.
I was under the impression that a good steel sprocket should last you 20k. Was the chain aligned? Seems an awfully short time even if it wasn't.
edit: 520 on a busa? Still seems like a lot of wear for that mileage but I guess it's possible. Though I'd expect it to be harder on the chain than the sprockets.Last edited by Eware; 02-19-2014 at 03:40 PM.

Bear you running your chain too tight? You are adjusting it with someone seated on it right??

No, its a 600. When i first put on the chain i accidentally forgot to take it off the stands when i tensioned the chain. It was way way too tight, but i noticed on the first ride and loosened it with the allen wreches under the seat mid ride. Would that be enough to do it? I wonder if the front is shot too. What should i look for on the chain to know what kind of shape its in?
