Ha! It is all relative. This is rather warm up in Alaska (usually)
Yeah it was -9 here today. -3 was about 7:30ish last night. Were you outside brah?
My knee is f*cked....so f*ck my knee.
Sh*iiiiiiiiiit....it could be March, could be June.
I initially did it because I didn't want to change shoes and because I knew it would hit the hips nicely. Afterwards, really liked it. Like a lot.
Dis
I bet it would. Forces emphasis on lockout for certain.

Press
10" Log Clean and Press
210 x 3
230 x 3
250 x 2
*250 was a nightmare. Missed my first clean. Waited 15 secs and wet after it again. Missed rep 1, hit 2/3, them missed 4/5. Sh*tty.
CG Bench Press
315 x 7
*With sleeves
Lateral Raises
25 x 15 (3 sets)
Band Pressdowns
Light x 100 reps total (Done in 3 sets)
Abs
Band Crunch
Light x 25 (3 sets)
Bit of a disaster all around. Log press was messed up. Wanted 3, but didn't have it. If it wasn't for me setting my safety pins on my warmups, I may be in the hospital. Carelessly unracked 225 and the bar slipped out of my hands and came crashing down to the pins. Scary as hell. Was going to work heavier on cg bench, but wasn't in it mentally anymore. Decided to rep out 315.

Aren't you shooting yourself in the foot by wearing your lever belt when you're doing c and p with log??

No sh*t.
I don't have a real issue with it. When I lap the log, I try to get it on top of my gut, thus on top of the belt. If anything, it helps. The main problem is A) I have been cleaning a 12" log in training and muscle memory make the 10" feel funny. B) A 10" log is a motherf*cker to clean. C) The log is rather slick and needs some nice paint on it to make it less slick than a galvanized finish.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

My buddy sprayed his with truck bed liner. Of course I doubt the ones used in contests would do the same.

Deadlift
DOH Deadlift
455 x 1
495 x f
*Figured I had a shot at 495 with the way 455 looked....but, um no.
Farmer's Pick
280 x 2
320 x 2
370 x 2 (740 total)
*Used straps to simulate something like the car deadlift. Bit of a high pick, but within a couple inches of comp spec.
Lat Pulldowns ss Face Pulls
200 x 10/Light x 25 (3 sets)
Not a bad day. Pretty heavy, but I think this is the point where the car dl in my upcoming comp will end up.

Redemption on the log and decent stone work. Kept it rather low impact with the contest next week. Should be a good day.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Brief update....
Work has been hectic this week, but I have managed to get all my food in. Monday night and last night I did some bodyweight stuff and light mobility/stretching to keep blood flowing. Driving to Indy tomorrow night and waking up at a decent hour to eat breakfast and get to the venue Saturday morning.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593
