A friend of mine asked me "What do you feel about gene testing to find which fibers are primarily used, for routine making?"
I feel like i've read an article by Brad Schoenfeld (or someone similar) that discussed this and basically came to the conclusions worrying about fiber-type makeup isn't much relevant, has anyone seen anything like this?
Also i don't see gene testing telling you ones entire muscle fiber makeup...Last edited by Charlie581; 12-16-2013 at 09:05 AM.

Anyone in the Northeast have a good winter getaway suggestion? Just like a 3-4 day trip, preferably low key. Cabin out in a nice small town or something

Meriden, Connecticut.
Visited once in my life, and have been dying to go back!
For being a bit larger of a town/city (50,000+ people roughly, which yes is "big" to my small town ass) it doesn't really have the feel of it.
Very friendly people/environment.
Incredible architecture everywhere, and lots of parks/forests in the local area to visit (which I'd imagine are probably gorgeous this time of year).
Also you have to see Castle Craig and The Peaks.
As far as an actual location to stay I couldn't tell you, was staying with a friend during my visit.
But I'm sure there are lots of great options.
Don't have a lot of experience with the NE and traveling, but I'd say it's worth a look into regardless.USMC (2009-2013)

Am I late?- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

I'll look into it, thanks. So far I've looked into the Poconos and Finger Lakes, with a few other places like Montauk, NY and Eastern Shore, MD being possibilities if we don't go with the secluded cabin deal. I think we'll probably end up in a small cabin in the middle of no where with a hot tub and some champagne. Sounds like a nice 3-4 day hideout to me. Still need to do some better research into other areas in Vermont, but haven't touched it yet. I end up doing ridiculously thorough precursory glances so after 3 or so hours of research I usually need to step away for a little.
