$50,000 a year salary, $500,000 a year salary, $5,000,000 a year salary....
meh, my life would stay almost exactly the same through each.

The more you make the more you spend, make a good bit more than 50k and don't feel like I really make all that much money tbh.
"THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE GREATEST STRENGTH GAINS OVER TIME WILL MAKE THE GREATEST SIZE GAINS OVER TIME ACCORDING TO THEIR GENETIC POTENTIAL. If you're reading this and never get anywhere close to your ultimate strength levels (AT WHATEVER REP RANGE) you will never get to your utmost level of potential size." Dante Trudel

I have a friend who's 35 years old, he has a beautiful wife and very pretty 2 year old daughter. He has all the toys he has ever wanted (nice Harley bike included), nothing too extraordinary like a Lambo, but he's very content with life. He's making a pretty average salary as a hotel manager, nothing CEO-like.
He's now considering moving out of the city and into the country, because he's bored with shopping.
I would say the difference between those figures only makes a difference depending on what kind of person you are. If you are content with high-end but not super luxurious goods, then an average to high salary will do you just fine, especially if you are good at managing your money and saving.
