So I figured I'd try to go as heavy as possible on these before it became impossible to hold the dumbbell, 180 of duct taped joy is the best so far. It goes fom being an effete little lift to something tough very quickly!
I really need to get back to normal squatting before I hurt myself.

I would like to see a vid of someone calling Halfway effete...
Monster goblet. I think I am going to try some (genuinely effete) goblets in search of loose hip flexors and squat peace and joy.☻/

The manager doesn't care what happens in the gym.. many of the machines are broken, 50% of the cardio equipment doesn't work, there are missing DBs and the place hasn't been cleaned for a decade. But that's $15 a month membership for you.
I drop the DB at the end of the set, so it's only good for the one time before it needs re-taping
holding it was a bitch - I felt like I was one rep away from tearing a bicep

BTO's super dumbbell popped into my mind as the next level from here.
Amazing core strength to keep that 180 out in front of you and hold such great position. I bet it felt tougher than some of your heavy front squats to stay upright? The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl
