Yea I've seen it get pretty bad reviews but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. Went to my local A & P last night which has pretty limited selection and they didn't have any of the three I was looking for so I wound up getting Milk & Cookies. Tried it today and was not impressed. There was nothing about it that was bad imo, but none of the flavors truly stood out and made it something I would go back for. It tasted like a watered down cookies & cream to me. 6/10. So far I've had 4 B & J's flavors and would rank them as follows:
1. Cherry Garcia
2. Peanut Butter Cup
3. Half Baked
4. Milk & Cookies
I've tried every Haagen Daz flavor except for the new ones (used to work at a HD store lol) so trying to catch up and try as many B & J flavors as I can.

I've only tried four flavors so far, and I gave CG an 8/10 so I don't really think its an amazing ice cream at all, but of the flavors I've tried so far I'd put it first. I'm going to be honest with my reviews, I'm not going to rate something highly just because others in the thread have. I'm really team Haagen Daz all the way, but I'm trying the B&J flavors because I've never had them before and am hoping I find something I like.

Haha, fine by me. No reason to lie about personal taste just to "fit in" with others. My statement was just intended as commentary on how greatly people's tastes can differ. Hope you strike gold somewhere. There's nothing quite like finding a new flavor that's a knockout hit for you...

Agreed. It does kind of suck from a standpoint of relativity when you pick up a slew of new ice cream flavors and end up trying one of the lackluster ones first though.
EDIT:
And I honestly think I would be repulsed by some of these flavors, most notably my home turf's "Michigan Salad." The actual salad is great, but do not want in ice cream form.

haha... this whole time i've felt like i'm the "ice cream mr. nice guy," cause i feel the same way. seems like there are some harsh critics in this thread, not that that is a problem.
i'd like to think i have a pretty sophisticated palate, but honestly there are very few ice creams that i would give an F or even a D to.Ladieeeees

Some foods are just inherently good, to the point where you have to go out of your way to screw them up. I'd probably put pizza on the list as well. Not to say it doesn't happen, but someone has to really be trying hard to make it suck.

Nice find! I'm going back again today with hopes of scoring Peanut Butter Jam Session as well.
I've reviewed over 350+ ice cream and only have 31 sitting in the D or F range. Mostly FDD's, gas station finds, or super low calorie options trying to impersonate super-premium stuff.Check out my Ice Cream Review Blog: www.theicecreaminformant.com (Twitter: @CreamInformant)

Speaking of Perrys, I wish I could find more of their stuff. I had this a while ago and dont think I ever posted it. IIRC it was around a B+ The frosting swirl was great and the base was super sweet (which im a fan of but could be offputting for some). Quite similar to BBs Birthday party...
I started by scooping into a bowl, and after sneaking an extra spoonful from the container it quickly became the first time I killed a 1.5 quart container in 1 go. Not proud but #YOLO lmao.
Look at all that frosting! woulda ya just look at it????
The black part in the back is a bit of magic shell I added to see how the combo worked. Not great, ended up eating the rest without it.

Friendlys has some good offerings IMO. The graham central station is a gem. Im a big fan of their orange creamsicle type flavor too. vanilla ice cream swirled with orange sherbet. Would deff be interested in more reviews on them (the real ice cream not FDD) since I can usually find the big containers on sale for 1.99 and they have a huge selection in my market

So my thoughts on Rockin Blondies. sorry no pics my phone has been goofy lately.
Base: Dont really care for it, tastes like a sort of bland vanilla
Butterscotch Toffee Flakes: If you like ben and jerry's Chocolate chips, and if you like butterscotch, you will love these. I however am not a fan of hard chocolate chips so that kinda took away from the pint. These are in pretty much every bite
Blondie Brownies: These are solid 10/10 flavored mixins. They are so insanley distinguishable from everything else with a great flavor and texture. HOWEVER, there are very few of them.
This flavor is pobably a B-, could easily be escalated if you get a good pint/like the toffee pieces
I ate probably 1/2 of it then just searched out the remaining brownies, if that says anything XD

On the subject of reviews; what I like about them is even if I don't agree with the end rating, I can understand the reason they were given. Chad and others explain why they did not like something, and why that may be something you enjoy; rather than just saying "i hated it, it sucked".

So I got a package in the mail today...
Always a good sign when there's dry ice coming your way.
I'm excited to try them all! Well, except for the coffee hhip flavor because a: I'm mormon and don't eat/drink coffee and b: I can't stand the smell of coffee and the one time I had it I couldn't stand more than a sip.
So, if you're in Utah and you like coffee flavored ice cream, I can give you a free pint.
For those who missed it: I had a really bad McConnell's pint (freezer burned to heck) and I emailed them about the issue. I may have name dropped theicecreaminformant's website and forums and the ICEMEN threads on bb.com... but their initial offer was a coupon for a free pint which got upgraded to 4 free pints, shipped directly to me. I don't care who you are, that kind of customer service speaks volumes.Total: 1578 | 633/378/633- meet bests | 645/385/660- gym bests

Yes, I have tried that along with the "toasted s'mores" flavor. I thought they were really good, and their flavors are awesome but for a "super premium" ice cream (weight/cal per serving) I thought it could have been better. The overall consistency of the ice cream did not seem to be similar to other super premium brands. Let me know if you agree.
