Can anyone help me with the DROID RAZR MAXX WIFI screw up. On 4.1.2

Pretty much my Wifi connects and drops to every WIFI system around 100x a day. Version said it was due to Routers being over 5 years old and to buy new ones.

I don't know how i can walk into random businesses and tell them to buy new routers because my phone won't connect anymore. I can use an Iphone and be 20pages deep before 1 loads on my phone connected to the same router.

Its also eating the battery like crazy now. Da fuk i hate this phone!

Not the S3 screen. But I have replaced 2 iPad screens in the past.

Make sure you are very patient and careful. Don't want to mess up an antennae, home button, etc that may be attached to the screen.

Dirty flashing CM nightlies are ok but I think they specifically mentioned that you need to do a full wipe if you are flashing 4.3 coming from 4.2.2. Just check it out, that's how they put it in TMO Note 2 thread in XDA.

Tried the new CM10.2, but ended up reverting back to the previous rom. CM just isn't my cup of tea honestly.

Also, TB sucks. It doesn't backup any data other than settings. Had to revert back to the rom I had for the messages and stuff I had saved.

MYbackup Pro does it all with the data+apk backup.

Need some advice on buying a tablet for my wife. We had an iPad 2 but it seemed to have disappeared so I'm going to get her another one. We both are convinced that the iPad is retarded and we don't want that again (hate syncing to iTunes and all the apple BS)

She used it a ton to study and highlight stuff in PDF format. Other then that, the usual music and ******** stalking. We're leaning towards the Galaxy Note 3 10.1, but I really have no clue about tablets. Are there any new ones coming out in the near future? Will only buy an Android tablet.

Google Keep - Note taking / task management. I use it a lot for work. I can add things to do, shopping lists etc whenever I remember and it syncs to my desktop
MightyText - Sync text messages and photos wirelessly to desktop. Really awesome if your phone is charging somewhere else but you want to keep tuning sloots
MEGA - Encrypted cloud storage with 50GB free. Auto uploads from camera
Expense Manager - Self explanatory. I had holes in my pocket and needed to find out where my money was going

Poop Map - document all of your bowel movements on a map just because. I've covered two continents so far
Nova Launcher - Awesome launcher. Expands your ability to customize your device even more so

galaxy note 3 10.1 isn't actually a thing

it's either the galaxy note 3 which is a cellphone that supposed to be around 6 inches, comes with a stylus and a bunch of stylus related software

or the galaxy tab 3 10.1, which is just a crappy 10 inch tablet

or the galaxy note 10.1, which is a tablet with a stylus and stylus related software

nexus 10 is a great option if the stylus isn't that important

if she is willing to look at something smaller, the galaxy note 8 is a good choice too

It is very nice, I used it for 3 out of 4 classes last semester. It has a ton of note taking features of which I haven't even dived in to. Costco had them for 50 dollars cheaper than most places. Idk if a new version is coming though,

Ordered a Windows RT tablet because it was on super sale, and has a 600nit screen which I want to outside use. Actually kinda hoping it'll replace my laptop and my Nexus10 for my uses since it comes with a keyboard dock. Very nervous about the restrictions of RT though, InB4 I sell it in a week. But if it'll work for what I want I can travel with one device instead of two, will still have Android on my Note2 anyway. We'll see.

I am not a fan of Moto, although I am sure their phones down the line will be better with Google steering the ship now. But it's personal preference when it comes to this stuff, try one out in the store, maybe you'll like it. If you are concerned about battery life the Note2 is insane, 3100 battery, not far behind the maxx - but I bring that up because I am a huge Note fan, I love the screen size. And obviously you can get an extended battery for nearly any phone. ZeroLemon offers some great products for really heavy users who can't access chargers often.

Yes. If you already have a recovery flashed you can simply download a rom to your sd card and flash in recovery. No need for a computer.
