Repped on first post. I am conjuring up a 2j build myself, something not yet done. Just need to measure some chassis dimensions and motor/trans to make sure it makes sense to do it. A friend and employee of mine has a 1j with a 6262 in a S14 on E85 almost finished which is where my serious appreciation for the jz motors came from. During the breakdown of his motor for tank/deck and everything else I truly fell in love with these motors after being so impressed. Don't worry about anyone else's opinion but your own. These motors are seriously one of the most impressive things I have seen in person when completely disassembled. I mean heck if V8 brahs are installing oil squirters on their cars and these motors are during 20 and had them already...whos doing it right?
Bravo. Nice build.**If any information in my posts helps you, take a moment to let me know somehow**

As much as it hurts me to say this is true lol. Supra's are sexy and awesome iconic tuner cars, but people always boast about stupid HP numbers that dont mean much. Rather keep it sitting around 400hp just so the engine, drive train, and etc last awhile.
EDIT: Obnoxious speakers? Surely op doesnt want quality audio in his car. JL's are some of the best sub's you can get. w7's ? **** off *******. Lol @ big turbo that wont kick in on the street. V6? You sound like a muscle car *******.★cVc★ OEFx2

Stock internals will hold 700rwhp+ safely and up to 900 with some risk. I have forged pistons and h-beam rods. They'll reliably hold over 1k all day long. I only run 16psi on the street though which is right around 650 to the wheels, and there is a HUGE difference between 16 psi and 40 psi. This car makes functional power.

My nitrous isn't for additional power, its to give the car low range power to even out the powerband. its on a window swith and shuts off when the tubo has full boost.
go to the link below for the mod list (you can vote while youre there if you want, if not no worries only takes 15 seconds though)

I'm not sure I havent kept track. I do a lot of the work myself though whick keeps costs down some
Its a lot of fun to drive, but its high maintenance so i cant drive it as much as id like. I'm self taught with cars but I do some work for performance aftermarket companies
Not sure, but it was spread over years of time so it was manageable.
haha yeah strong unaware in here.
been on here since like 2007. fairly new sn though.
a lot of it was done by myself and personal friends in my home garage.
ever been to the pavilions? its in Scottsdale. i go occasionally.
it was spread out so i didnt drop any super large sums at once

Small spool jet to get it lit? gt4508 is a hell of a lot of charger to get spooled with 3 liters. I suppose for a drag car that'd be alright but big singles have not been worth it on the street in my experience. Ran essentially a GT4094 for a while, I've got 5.9 liters but only <4000 rpm to play with. When it finally did lite it was fun but almost out of revs. Building a compound twin set, gt3582 over 4508.
