Definitely go, it's a little grotty in places, but this is Thailand were talking about so it's a bit better quality than most cities, and when the lights go down its fun as hell.

Don't swim in the sea, there loads of chemicals being pumped into the water and people often come out with burns and stuff, even the locals swim with clothes on, and definitely don't get into confrontation for whatever reason, a lot of organised crime in Pattaya, from both Thais and Russians, but you shouldn't be affected by this unless you try and be into the chit, accommodation wise there's room for about 600 baht per night and upwards, I was lucky and found a little place above a bar for about 300 per night but there's tons of nice hotels and ****

Seeing as you guys liked the first report, here's the second right as im walking back into my hotel

I spent most of the day at the beach and just sleeping and recovering, determined to go out again but not get as wasted if i was gonna drink at all. well so much for that last bit, i drank, albeit not nearly as much.
