Are we affected only by our outward experience or are there other worlds that affect us? Hidden worlds -- that exist in the heart and in the blood. We are shaped by our experience, both within and without, present and past... and we pass those experiences on in our blood, giving birth to new generations and sometimes... new worlds.

I gotta say man, after leaving and then coming back to this forum, you were the first to rep me.
It was concerning a post where I said that the best thing someone can do is take heed of the advice of people on this forum...
just wanted to thank ya again,
Not only do stand by my position, i feel that people like you are the reason why this forum is great.
We need a source of inspiration and someone to lead by example.
That's what is important.
You've done very well and I know will continue to do so.
thanks again.

I said it before and I'll say it again truly remarkable what can happen when you buckle down and just do it. Congrats on your success so far and I have no doubt that you will accomplish 10% BF and a police officer, there is truly no stopping you. Thank you for kicking my ass into gear, truly motivating.
Oh yeah I wonder what your old co-workers at Wal-Mart think if you've run into them now.Shedding the fat

you are amazing!
I have just joined this websight today and plan on loosing at least 40 pounds in the next 3 to 6 months. I don't really have anyone to workout with or talk to about this and get any encouragment from. But, after seeing this posting I just need to look at it every now and then and it will give me all the encouragement I need. This must have been very hard to do.
Good luck on becoming a police officer.

Thanks again to you too.
The people at wal-mart, before I left were astounded by my weight loss, they didn't think it was possible. Also they were some of the most skeptical about it too, hinting that I would gain it back, one even suggested I had secretly had weight loss surgery
The hardest thing was getting started. I waited so long, my only regret is that I didn't do this 10 years ago.
You can, and you will with some patience and hard work.
Believe memany times last year, I damn near gave up, but I held in there, because I believed that nothing was impossible.
Thanks man, and great job on losing 75 pounds, keep up the good work.
Thanks both of you.

Tony,
I know I gave you props earlier in this thread, but let me stop in to say "awesome!" one more time.
I saw that you are on your way to being a police officer and passed the physical test as well as written. Good job! No way you could have done so before your weight loss. You have turned your life around!
I remember when you first joined up and started on your journey almost a year ago and you certainly showed that steady progress is the key to outstanding results!
Congrats on a sticky too! Well deserved IMO
I think I'll be able to rep you again on recharge come tomorrow. Certainly well deserved!
EDIT: turns out I have to spread a little more. Don't worry though, I'll hit you as soon as I can!Last edited by little_dan; 01-02-2008 at 02:35 PM.

Thanks.
I'm nopt jacked yet, but I am well on my way.
So many kind words, thank you all.
Thanks man, I never thought it would be possible to turn my life around, but I did just that. I never could have imagined a year ago even attempting to become a police officer.
Best of luck to you too in 2008, I have a feeling it will be a good year.
