Let's face it, a fair chunk of the population has wheat in there diets.
My question is, remove it completely from diet, or just moderation?
I've been reading and watching videos into wheat products and the problems caused by consuming it. Blood sugar, fatty organs etc etc. Even whole grains don't seem to great either!!
My goal is to go under 10% body fat and I don't think I can do this with this big "gluten devil" in my belly!
So inspire me and give advice to cut up and stay away from wheat.
Cheers!

Yeah I still eat a heap of grain bread and brown rice I was just seeing peoples opinions on the matter.
ATM I'm not bulking or cutting. I'm just trying to figure out how much I need to build and maintain muscle while still loosing weight. I think I have found a calorie intake that is good for maintenance because my weight loss has flattened out and I'm still building.
I really want to cut down a few more KGS. I try and intake 200g+ of protein to feed my muscles daily. What's a good ratio of carbs/protein/fat to cut even more weight?
I'll give that link a read when I'm home on my laptop. Come on everyone is a little bit of a YouTube bandit.

I eat 3 cups of oatmeal a day and 6 slices of whole wheat bread, my BF is 10% or a little bit higher. People create their own fears. My guess is you watched the vid of Vince Delmonte where he says wheat is chronic poison because it increases appetite and it can be addictive, so he says. Anyway Delmonte is a retard, show me your reference.

It has to do with this gluten free lifestyle the media has been pushing. If you are not allergic or have sort of problems when ingesting gluten products, continue to do it. The same goes for dairy. Dairy and gluten products cause complications for certain people who have diseases. If you are not one of these people, there is no need to worry about it. If you are concerned, you can ask your doctor to run tests and see if it is safe to incorporate into your diet.

Yeah I prefer whole grain and brown rice. Its a bit more of a chew. I fart like a champion, I'm not sure if that is to do with the gluten or the protein. Haha.
I don't think I will or would be able to cut it out of my diet anyway. I am glad to see peoples views on it and I will gives those stickys a read tonight.
Cheers for the down low guys.

It's not gluten per-say is bad and a lot depends on what form wheat is in. Most cereals contain lectins and rice is much easier to digest than wheat. However high-fiber wheat based foods like bran flakes are fine. You just need to cut out processed wheat based foods like bread and pasta.
Food allergies are genetic and there are people who suffer from very serious allergies. However if you ask me a lot of people who claim to have all sorts of weird allergies are just neurotics.

Of course that was organics Now since there is no proof of anything harmful with GMO's outside of some VERY badly done and VERY biased studies, I'm not sure where this fear comes from logically.Obsession is a term the lazy use to describe the dedicated.

Ratios are a dietary fallacy. Your body does not care what percentage of what macro you have to the next. It just needs sufficient amounts.
You weigh 217, so eat around 200-220g protein, around 100g fat, and the rest of your calories with carbs. Adjust your calories down by decreasing carbs until you see a .45KG drop each week. There is no spoon.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For I am the baddest man in the valley.
We all only have today and right now, but without death being pressed upon us we hide behind our false pretense of immortality. - Lvisaa

I'm not a scientist, but I want to eat food that I trust as much as I can. Science from places like Monsanto suggests GMO is totally safe, but long term studies haven't been done. So when I say "non-GMO and organic is nice" it just means I'm trying to remove variables and the unknown. Taste tests show people can't tell the difference, but why wouldn't you want the purest foods? Our food supply is loaded with extras, from pesticides on fruit and veggies to hormones in the feed for cows and chickens. I'm trying to control what I can.

How can we tell you what's good for you? Don't eat it if A) it makes you feel sick B) you don't want to
All you have to do is google "why is wheat bad for me" or some chit like that and get plenty of pages if you're looking for some sort of scapegoat to cut out a big food group for no real reason.I'm only human...except in the gym.

Thanks for dulling it down for me bro. I used to be a beer chugging labourer and some of the dieting stuff on here is complicated as hell.
I get about that much protein and fat and I've been slowly decreasing my carbs. If I don't have enough carbs I get so tired. To date I've lost 12kg just from clean eating and weight training and cycling.
At least I can still eat wheat. I'll just slowly drop them carbs till I hit my goal weight.. I still eat like a trooper though its just clean.
Thanks again.
