I dont hate apple products because they suck. They dont, at all.
I hate them for three reasons. First ease of use is not worth them being 50%-$150% more then the competitors that does the same thing. you cant upgrade them in any way. Really how are you gonna charge people $300 for a 16 gig memory upgrade on a phone?
But mostly I just hate the fanboy users. Bunch of wanna be with no ability to think for themselves.
The only think apple Ive ever owned that I actually liked was their stock.

Except they don't. Toshiba makes the cheapest consumer laptops on the market. They also have the lowest failure rate of any laptop on the market. Lower than Apple.
Don't get me wrong, Macbooks are great laptops. Better than everything else out there. They're also more expensive to buy, and much more expensive to maintain.
Say you have a regular toshiba. Spilled some water on the keyboard. NP. Order a new one for $15 and pop it into place. You don't even need to go to a repair shop.
Say you have a modern macbook (unibody). Spilled some water on the keyboard. NP. It will cost you ~$250 in labor and parts to repair the keyboard.
I would say that ~50% of laptop damage isn't because the laptop died due to poor quality. It's because the consumer dropped it and ran over it with his car. It the quality doesn't matter when people are submerging them in water or cracking the screens. The repair costs are what matters.
------
It's not about what laptop is "better". You can have a "best" laptop for $1million. The question is "is it worth it?". You have to find the qualityrice ratio and compare.

iphones are wutever...to be honest, it's the same chit as android but it doesnt freeze or crash
macbooks on the other hand are way better than PC IMHO. I've used PC ever since the 90's, but once i got a MBP back in 09, i never went back to PC and i still currently use the same mbp. I'm gonna upgrade within the next 2 years because the specs are pretty outdated. I never had a big issue with my MBP, whereas my PC would get a virus frequently (prolly from porn or stream sites) and it would be a hassle to fix that chit

I think what he is saying is that Apple only uses the best of the best in their products. They go for quality, unlike most PC laptops that opt for low-tier processors and beef up the specs with a 1TB useless 5400rpm HDD, some chitty GPU, etc.
nomsayin?
FYI: Apple is the first to introduce the new Intel 4th Generation Haswell i5 & i7 processors in its macbooks.

but those lower tier laptops with chitty processors, gpu, 5400rpm hdd are cheap as hell. you get what you pay for but with mac you pay an extra 50%.
apple products are just overpriced fashion accessories.
also, because introducing a new generation of processors that are ~10% faster as a marketing scheme makes the product so much superior. sounds pretty sheep"It was actually pretty gay from the beginning. Bodybuilding is not about reading long articles n sh*t, it's about being jacked and doing homosex for drug money."

Work with both + linux. Windows > Linux > OSX. Just personal preference since I grew up messing around only on windows, then linux. Only have used OSX through work provided gear. Never really had problems with any of them except for people who think everything on the internet is real. Then OSX > Windows. BECAUSE YOU ACTUALLY WON THE $10000000!!!!! Virus.
As for laptops, if you're buying Dell or HP, imo, they're both ****. No where near the quality. I had an inspiron e1505 for 7 years, that was before they decided to cheap out on everything.Push hard. Train hard. Never accept defeat.

not an apple fanboy but I have a macbook pro and iphone for its easy to use design and operating system. I don't really give a chit if it's a little more expensive than a pc. Because I have the financial resources I am not going to go through the work of finding the cheapest possible market item and tweaking software because I have no interest in that so it isn't worth my time. I personally enjoy a simpler and more crisp interface. My life is already hectic and a nice apple product gives me more comfort than a pc or android phone. And it's not like the android can do much more than an iphone. All of the basic I need apple provides already. different strokes for different folks I guess.

I agree that macbooks are superior to microsoft laptops 100% (for my uses)
I have an ipad, idk what for, its cool and has a bigger screen than my phone, but dont really see the big deal about them
I had an iphone 3gs, 4, and 4s, okay phones, nothing special.
Ipods = GOAT music players
Switched from iphone 4S to HTC One, and never going back to an iphone
Posted from my iPad lmao

Switched from an iPhone 4 to a S3, prefer the Samsung. Better screen and prefer the Android setup. But the iPhone is a good phone. I don't understand the appeal of an iPad. Have no desire to get a tablet.
Macbooks are ok. Better than a Windows PC. I run ubuntu though and prefer it to both.Panthers/Tar Heels/Hurricanes/Durham Bulls

experience:
taught self html at 13
professional web designer/graphic designer for 7 years
worked in uni media lab for a year with macs and pcs doing video, image, and audio editing.
worked in uni newspaper using quark and graphics editing software for a few years on macs
longtime pc gamer
have built all my own rigs since I was 15 or so and done all my own hardware/software upgrades.
my thoughts: all apple products are for idiots who are too dumb/lazy to figure out how to make a pc do what they want for a fraction of the price. So, they buy their apple OS products with fisher price buttons to make everything simple and calming for them. there are no frightening settings bars and menus, all the casings are tamper-proof (and upgrade proof), and you're basically paying Apple to dumb things down for you and child proof your device.
if you have the mental capacity to learn how to set a PC up right, you can get much more performance per dollar than you would with an apple.
if you're lazy and/or dumb, apples are great, because you can open it up out of the box and get the same user experience every other apple users is having. however, you are being raped on price.
if you're using your laptop to game: go pc.
if you're using your laptop to pro graphic design/video edit: get whatever works best for you
if you're getting laptop to do what 99% of people do 99% of the time, which is browse internet, listen to music, and watch movies: go pc for price factor.
as for apple ipods - huge rip off. ipones - huge rip off, but then again all cell phones are imo. their other products - i have no experience with.O||||||O Official Jeep Brah Crew O||||||O
