    Didn't care to update my signature, just a lurker here. I quit heavy lifting like 3 years ago. Maxed out on BP around 375lb with a shoulder injury.
    I didn't really focus on max benchpress cause it has no real use in strongman, just did it to strengten my triceps & front delts.

    Meh, not that impressive to me, but that's only because I'm a stronger presser and can out do that myself on incline damn near with same stats. I'm 6'2 225 lower bf.

    With that said I don't see how that isn't impressive to most. Not many pepper in the gym can rep 225 with ease so when you see it you're like nice. Not taking away from hid physique out anything btw the lift was good and he has a nice physique

    no it doesn't. I know for myself I had a hard time doing lighter weight for reps for squats but could go significantly heavier if only doing 2-3 reps. I only know people that were the reverse that could squat say 225 for quite a few reps but couldn't even put up 315 for 1.

    IMO squats are psychological as much as they are physical especially when it comes to higher volume. You might be able to do more than you think

    will check back in 7 years to see if this ever gets a response

    when I was sweating tren a few years back and could bench 405 x 5-6 I could do 225 for maybe 25 at absolute most. So obviously any 190lber with a years training could do more. Obviously.

    This is definitely impressive for sure for his size...nice...

    A friend told me not to be nieve though...that the guys in physique also ride the bicycle, just a smaller and at times, different type of bicycle.

    I am not accusing this guy just sayin, I was unaware of physique and didn't think guys were as big as a lot of them are...

    I saw Kevin Levrone do this same thing on his Levrone report at 5'9 and 220...claimed natty but he was on TRT so it's debatable I suppose...

    You are comparing what you see as impressive, as an enhanced athlete, to what a non-enhanced guy sees as impressive. Obviously you aren't going to see it as anything special. I'm sure i have a heck of a lot better chance (and DPNZ for that matter) to hit 225x30 if he or I hopped up on some celltech.

    Like i said earlier, i got a natty buddy who can do 20 (could do more if i helped him with his posture) with 225. Its very rare to see someone natural doing that (not saying steve cook is or isn't).
