Just a local sports center its average at best.. yeah with been the twat I was during school I have pretty much thrown away any opportunity at a good job without a lengthy grind so trying to look for a stable job to rebuild my life back after a end to a 4 year relationship then hopefully find a career in the future, during that time hopefully become shredded as furrrk

im on FL10 at the moment, defo my fave. just keep coming back to it.
have used and can use:
Ableton 5/6
Reason (3.0 onwards anway lol)
Logic Pro
idea go down sooooo quick in FL. its a powerhouse that i just dont think can be beaten for speed and flexibility but i requires serious hardware to be able to push its limits.
you lads on soundcloud?Im doing it right

can i ask what makes you say that? i appreciate the tools you get with it are very good but there is literally nothing the FL cant do.... NOTHING lol, even if its not an immediate feature, its open so you can even port cubase through it!

I agree, FL is pretty good but after seeing what my mate can do with Cubase.. i'm inclined to start learning it. To be honest though I think mixing is where my heart is but I need a job before I can get my own CDJs. How long you been producing for? Are all those tunes yours? You're pretty good brah.. i'll give you a follow later when i'm on my 'puter.
FL10 is one of the easiest, in fact it probably is the easiest DAW to use. Just study brah.. plenty of tutorials on youtube/the net, that's how i've learnt (though i'm still a proper noob).

are you sure they are not plugins he is using on cubase? i admit cubase and logic both have much better "built in kit" but, a wave editor is a wave editor, an EQ is an EQ and compressor is a compressor nom'saying?
been producing for like 14 years or so but stared really young with mega basic gear like Ejay. just messed around and read from there. all self taught inc keyboard n guitar. not really been that serious for last year or soooo bout as long as i been training ha, plus my daughter came along so less time!
sold all my mixing gear when i brought this house, i dont do anything live any more so if im making a mix to upload, i just studio mix it, faster and you can be a bit "shinier" with it. Supposed to be doing a "Through the ranks" set for a manchester station, dnb n dubstep but its gone a bit quiet. Was last mixing for massive dubstep and DangerboxLast edited by CompoundUK; 07-22-2013 at 09:19 AM.

FL is easier hence why its so fast to get ideas down. you can do cheap courses on any DAW as well but they are only worth it if you got the theory side down really. i just kinda learnt that bit as a went along but it took years lol.
the principle of FL is easy. You make a midi "score" or mark. which is present on FL as a "wav." style clip. You then arrange these clips as samples in arranger window. always best to rename stuff as you go along as well so things dont get lost or confusedIm doing it right

Yeah, was a few of us so wasn't too bad. No windows or aircon so it was hot as ****. Sweated out the hangover though.
Meant chest and triceps. Dunno why I wrote back. As for AVI, no idea tbh? Just haven't got one. Suppose I should get around to it!
31 degrees here today. Lots of water being consumed.
Cheers man. Feels good, went in there today with my training partner who didn't know that it had been cleaned and noticed straight away.
