Heading to a bday party tomorrow night (for the grandson of my best friend and WO partner), and then Sunday, I think I'll head over to Marlins Park to catch a game....Rodney hates baseball, so I figure I'll take in a couple of games while I can...

We celebrated Pride in San Diego this weekend. It was fun! I was planning on riding my motorcycle with the dykes on bikes, but I slept in and missed it. Got a chance to see a lot of the parade with the boyfriend and some girl friends. It was packed this year thanks to the DOMA and Prop 8 rulings.

Comic Con is coming up this week, and for the first time I have a 4 day pass! I'm excited, but had no time to prepare a Consuela, Game of Thrones or Archer costume. I'm a bad geek.

Hey guys hope everyone has been well. I pop in and read a few posts but I rarely have free time at work anymore. Training is going strong and I'm about to hit 200lbs! Not exactly beach ready but I'm shooting for next Summer lol. Say a prayer for me because I'll find out this week if I get an amazing job! Right now I'm in the second phase of the hiring process (but its weird because they have already told me what it pays and offered me the job but said its pending upper management's decision) anyway it is only 40 hours a week (vs 80ish I work now), $30,000 more per year, all insurance is 100% paid for, and I'll be home every night because my house is only 20 minutes away (vs 2 hours now). The work is almost exactly what I want to do for a living too!

Last year was my first and I only got a one day pass. Thanks to having a pass last year I was able to get the 4 day pass with Preview Night for this year. I enjoyed going last year and was able to get a lot of very cool art. I'm excited to go to preview night and check out some of my favorite artists and hopefully get their exclusive comic con items! Now that I have more time I'll be able to enjoy it more.

Thanks for the kind words. I sometimes want to reply and call them out, but most of the time I just ignore it. The golden rule of the internet still applies, "Don't feed the trolls". It does bug me that the general mood (especially over on Misc) is "let's act all Bro like and use these masculine words", but at least I haven't run into people bashing me directly for being gay. When I feel like it I just add a Yes Homo to a compliment.
