I have just a random question ...
I am prepping for a competition .. the cutting will be coming soon. I basically follow a lot of what Layne Norton says/recommends .. heavy lifting .. minimal cardio ..HIIT .. no extreme lowering carbs ..etc. So .. as I plan out the the beginning stages of my cutting diet/plan .. I swear I once read that it was a recommendation to lower carbs just that first week to kickstart or jumpstart things. ??? But I can't find where I read it .. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Or did I somehow make it up??
Thanks
Jennifer

Just a quick question, what are your daily calories and macros for cutting? Also, what does your training split look like?
To answer your question, I've never heard about not eating carbs the first week in order to 'jump start' a cut. I find it better to start cutting at higher calories and progressively taper them down to keep things working so you don't hit a wall fast.*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*
