Personally I don't even deadlift that much, brb getting yelled at and criticized for not doing them often
but no i don't use a belt, I know eventually ill throw on a belt but not planning till most likely 495+
but too much dependence on a belt will result in a weaker core and your lifts will sufferLong live Visagex

Agreed. I threw on a belt around 85% but probably should have waited longer.
Also, i deadlifted the day before, playing around with singles at 70-85%. Although it wasn't much volume, i knew my core and lumbar wouldn't be 100% the next day, and it wasn't.
Thanks brah, repped.370/240/440

Great stuff man. What's the song btw?
As for the advice, everything looked good tbh. Just keep on pushing. Was there any particular questions you had?
Edit: I would advise not taking so long in your stance to finally pull. Each and every second counts. Your set up is important, but staying set for such a long period of time can drag down your numbers possibly. Try just going down and immediately pulling next time. Seems like you were a "tad" discouraged on whether you could or could not pull the weight considering the amount of time you waited315b/405s/500d @ 168 bw (July-August 2013)

Thanks man. To be completely honest, it was even longer than it is in the video, as i edited it out for viewing purposes. But i completely understand where you are coming from.
I'm not completely experienced with this setup yet, as i was playing around with different ones yesterday. Still trying to figure a few things out like the amount of tension is should have, spine positioning, head positioning etc.
Song:
Thanks man.
Honestly, a lot of f*cking around.
December 2010 - April 2012: Different split routines training with squat, bench, dead frequency 1x per week + a lot of hypertrophy assistance work (worked fine, wasn't that great, still a lot of fun)
April 2012 - February 2013: Wendler 5/3/1 (very slow progression)
February 2013 - now: Playing around with my own 8 week mesocycle, benching 3x, squat and dead 2x. High volume, working off an RPE scale from 7.5-9.5. (very fun, working great)
What i'm doing now is probably the most effective.370/240/440

Don't worry about being weak, manlet. I ruined my lower back a while ago and any DL attempts over 120kg usually result in death. Yes, good form.

Will do in the future!
Thanks!
Haha, yeah I train in a pretty small gym too. The deadlift platform and bumper plates were introduced because I am the only one who Deadlifts and the metal plates cracked the wooden flooring. Thanks brah.
On the bright side, you are 40lbs heavier and way leaner. Makes me jelly brah.370/240/440
