I finished the AIDS Life Cycle this past Saturday and absolutely loved it. It's a 545 mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles over 7 days. There were 2203 riders this year and 550 roadies. I signed up for next year's ride after Day 2! I highly recommend it if you're interested in seeing California like you've never seen it before, getting the warm and fuzzies from going through communities that love these riders, helping a great cause by raising money and awareness, and you also get to see some great eye candy.
Here's a sample of some pictures from the ride:
There was food everywhere. Rest stops had pop tarts, cliff bars, nuts and bananas (*giggle*), and fruits. They provided lunch along the way, and there were camps every night with ample food for dinner and breakfast. Even though I burned about 3800 calories per day, I only lost 1 lb and sadly it wasn't all fat. Oh well. But at least my legs look great! Now I need to fix my farmer's tan and get back to the routine.twitter.com/motoridersd

Yes he did! It was impressive to see what some people rode their bikes in!
These guys were dressed up as the Kardashians. And I just found out yesterday that I know them from my San Diego training rides. I had no idea it was them when I took the picture

lol. of course.
Since I got the new yesterday, I am still trying to organize so many details. I will probably not be moving until the Fall for sure. As for a couple of visits, I know I will be there in August but most likely at least one more time to evaluate potential apartments/neighborhoods for living. The 4th might be too soon to make it for me.

2 weeks out from the Great Gay Off. Seriously trying to cut up this last chunk of stubborn body fat. Everything is looking nice and in shape so far - nice lumps and bumps and proportion in my muscles - then theres this packet sitting on my belly and though its tighter and flatter - oddly that makes it stand out all the more! Grr. Still Cardio upped and now on the carb free.
MAY I BE AS BEUTIFULL AS THOSE i DEEM TO BE.

Chicago Pride is next week! This year the committee has the Festivlol on the 22-23, but the parade on the 30th. I missed last year's parade, but I am not crazy about parades. Ought I to go next week? I have church next week but maybe I can switch with Dixie so I can be on that bus early and not miss the fun this year. And I can't go to both!
