We are 15 and 9, greatly improved since last years injury-tastrophe. Kobe says hes glad he wasnt traded, now let all the lakers fan rejoice as we continue to be successful.
So all the laker's fans(no suns) waht are your thoughts on Andrew Bynum? I think he has the potential to be in the top 5 centers of the NBA if hes not there already.
Also the bench production has been our most important improvement, with the trade of Brian "no-hussle" Cook and mo evans, we have probably the best bench in the league, in terms of point production. once Ariza gets fully comfortable he will be a beast, i think in the next few years we can be legitamate contenders, unlike the 2nd round only suns.

Bynum is a gun. Does well in fantasy too.
Lakers still need another piece, but i guess Bynum may turn into that piece, but Kobe has to be patient and wait for Bynum to really be a star.▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

Ariza is going to help us a lot.
Bynum is getting better as the season progresses (that's scary for all the other teams), Farmar is our pg of the future, Crittenton is talented and super-athletic, Kobe is Kobe and Lamar does better with a better team around him. Don't forget Sasha and his magical touch this year (hint hint contract year)
I love watching this team play!

Cleveland fan here but I love watching the Lakers play. Should be a good game Thursday. We're finally healthy and the Lakers are playing great.

turiaf is a good intense player, Sasha has been on fire lately, walton has been struggling a bit as of late, and kwame is still hurt even though all he's really used for is defense

they've been playing well..I really can't believe they've been winning even though Kobe's not his usual self. its about time they put it together though, cuz when you think about it..they've basically had the same roster for a long time now, Bynum's beasting, Radman's earning his damn $$$ instead of being on the bench all the time, Farmar's made a huuuge step forward, & Sasha's playing for a new contract.
I really don't know if they'll keep Ariza though, but he is a good defender, but he's running with his head cut off on offense..which doesn't really matter to me cuz he's not an offensive threat anyway. I'm just glad they got rid of Cook's contract, but I wouldn't be surprised if another trade is in the works.
Lamar does just fine..the only thing is that he's almost always injured.

haha, unless Byrum turns into Tim Duncan, the Lakers aren't going anywhere
and I'm a huge Kobe fan.

yea it should be
did anybody here of the possible deal that the Lakers may pull off with the Nets?
my dad told me that he heard it on the radio today..
it involves Jason Kidd, Kwame Brown, and maybe Luke Walton, and prob 1 or 2 of the three: Jordan Farmar, Javaris Crittenton, or Sasha Vujacic...Leader of the Heartless MISC

That would be awesome if the Lakers get Kidd. Imagine Kidd passing to Kobe or allep-oops to Byrum.

yea, it could be a really good move on the Lakers part...Imagine the starting 5 for the Lakers: Kidd, Bryant, Bynum, Turiaf or Radmonivic, Odom. That would be a really good starting 5. Though their bench would suffer, but it will prob be worth it. Kidd and Bryant in the backcourt...DAMN!
and they will keep Bynum and Odom. See the Nets kinda suck, and they are looking for expiring contracts and Kwame's is huge because he was a #1 draft pick, and plus either 1, prob 2 other lakers' contracts.
This could be good...even though i really like the bench and how they are playing lately( esp the guards)Leader of the Heartless MISC

the lakers did this for a while last season.(i believe cause kobe was hurt at the begining i forget) Then people got hurt and reverted to kobe ball.
Which is good cause the lakers are 2x's more interesting to watch when kobe is scoring 40 then him scoring 18. plus i got him on my fantasy team.

He may want out but the Nets are going to demand something in return. If they are getting expiring contracts back then I would imagine they are dumping Carter as well. In fact, I'd posit that it's just as likely that the Nets are going to trade him before Kidd. That would be a helluva a good deal for the Lakers though, but only if they kept Bynum. I don't know if that would make them contenders in that it's enough to take on and beat the Spurs but they would be up there.

the team's fine now..I've liked Kidd his entire career & have always wanted him to come back home (to any of the CaLi teams), but the knees are gone. Bynum's been untradeable since he was drafted & I'd really hate to lose Farmar right now..Sasha I'm wary of cuz its a contract year & I'm kinda big on Crittendon shining someday, but I could see him being traded cuz he's a 3rd pg.
Fisher's there now, he's no Kidd, but he's a good vet pg & he can shoot & he knows the offense. Kidd would blow the triangle offense up, Ariza might like that though since he doesn't know what the hell to do out there, it's funny watching him out there though..I'm sure he'll adjust, but I hope they keep him since he grew up out here & he's a good defender

I wonder how long Fisher's gonna be with the lakers, 2 years? Crittenton seems like a street baller to me, unfortunately he's just gonna get garbage minutes so it's hard to really evaluate him. I've always been a fan of Farmar since UCLA, so I say we keep him unless we can get kidd somehow.

tomorows game should be exciting, i cant wait.
i will keep my eyes and ears open for laker trade talk the next few weeks
in the next 2-3 years, it will be the Giant in the West, Bynum, versus the Beast of the East, Howard. It will be very interesting any time they meet.
If Sasha can play as good as he has been playing latelyon a consistent basis, the laker bench will still be a strong one even after the possible trade with the Nets.Leader of the Heartless MISC

we gotta think about the long run, fisher and kidd have no more than 2 years tops left maybe 3, but if we get kidd will we be that much better? we need another post presence to go along with bynum, i think we can trade kwames contract for something decent. i think its after this season there will be alot of good free agents/
