    5 tbsp of peanut butter

Just wondering if 5 tablespoons of peanut butter an hour before bed is acceptable. It fits into my macros, just wondering if 525 calories is over doing it so close to bedtime.
    Thanks

No problem at all. Many people on here, if not most, consume a large portion of their calories just prior to bed...including me. I easily have 3+ tablespoons of a nut butter before bed in homemade ice creams. I think you're safe.

Don't do it! The fats will go straight to your belly. Especially if you eat it after 8.

So you don't eat anything the whole day? You just workout at night, eat all the calories, sleep, and repeat? Can you go into further detail? I'm interested in the method.

Is it good for a cut cycle (what I'm currently on) or is it more for bulking? Also when do you lift? Before or after the meal?

It's good for both but most use it for cutting.
It's just harder to get down 3000+ calories in one sitting than it is 2000.

It's not a magic solution to anything, just a form of calorie restriction.

Well cool. Thanks for all the info guys. Just need one more question answered, and I'm sure it probably depends on personal preference, but when is the best time to lift while intermittent fasting? The morning after, before you eat, after you eat? Sorry, I would go Google it, but I trust your guy's info more.

Depends on how it affects your performance. Many train better fasted, just as many train better fed.

Read this one OP, even if you don't do it, leangains is really interesting to read about. Been doing it for 4 weeks now, down 5 lbs. Makes calorie restriction simple, plus lift numbers have slightly gone up, while the love handles are slowly disappearing.

The thing that matters is how many calories 5 Tablespoons actually has. The nutrition label on peanut butter has ALWAYS been off on any type of peanut butter that I've had.

Do yourself a favor and actually weigh it if you haven't already.
