    Protein and Soy Milk

Are there any adverse effects of mixing protein powder with soy milk instead of skim milk? I've noticed that soy milk has less carbs and no cholesterol. It tastes like crap by itself, but mixed with the protein the plain soy milk is palatable.

I've had no problems with it. I'm lactose intolerant so that's all I drink. I buy the Silk brand Vanilla flavored soy milk. I think it tastes great.

Mix in water? I'm Asian and even I feel that soy milk is a whole lot of nonsense. Do you know why soy is so abundant in the Asian diet? Because back in the day, they couldn't afford meat so they needed to get their protein from somewhere.
