In on this.
Everyone else cutting for summer and I feel like a fat **** sitting in high 250's.
But seriously I have had several total strangers lately just jawdrop and ask me about my lifting.
I look hyooge in a white t-shirt and jeans....but not looking forward to a beach vacation this summer.Insta: flexjs

Great stuff, I'll be watchin!!
I dunno when your vacation is but the weather here has made summer seem a long ways away. Your avi is impressive so you'll only look better by the time it rolls around.
I'm super happy with how things have been going with working out and dieting has gone the past couple weeks. I've been seeing a trainer to refine my technique on some stuff and he's helped me tonnes. Today he smashed my legs for an hour, I did a set of 20 squats after other work sets and good lord... my body was only used to 5x5.
I read this from strength wiki before but really discovered it's truth today:
Ball Busters', Widow-Makers, Man Breakers. These are words used to describe the 20 rep squat. But back in the golden age of bodybuilding, before expensive supplements and better living through chemistry, this is how the old school weight lifters got BIG. If you can suffer though the 6 weeks that it takes to get through this routine you will grow bigger legs and even bigger balls. Mark Rippetoe says, "Trust me, if you do an honest 20 rep program, at some point Jesus will talk to you. On the last day of the program, he asked if he could work in." Don't say I didn't warn you.
I've been eating really well and had a weight loss whoosh which is really motivating. I never really thought about looking good for summer before because I was so out of shape it was too far off but now that's an extra motivation on top of making it easier on my knees playing goal again in fall.
On a personal note, I survived and finished with my wimmen troubles and it only made me work out more even while I was stressed out in the process this week. More time and freedom will only help me bust my ass more.

Been on the SS program for about a month now.
- Strength is up (always been fairly weak for my size)
- Average weight is also slowly going up but I find eating a surplus the most difficult thing ever
- Shoulders have been a huge weakpoint, starting to bury that skeleton!
Had a date yesterday, went very well. Had to wrestle my jeans on...that feeling when your pants are too tight and you can blame it on squat/dl/hack squat lifts
UberSuper, what's the 20 rep program like? Hmm, excuse to do more squats, I'm liking this. Hope your training brings you the success you deserve! Keep it up!
Happy Friday everybody!

Gratz bro! That's a very good program, and is usually what most people on this site recommend for anyone who's novice or intermediate bodybuilders.
Eating at a surplus was the hardest thing for me to do as well.... the best advice I can give you is to eat fattier foods (ex: add extra oil when cooking, etc.), and to eat less veggies.
Eating less veggies sounds like bad advice, but when I went from a cut to a bulk it was the only way I could eat at a surplus without having to down tablespoons of oil or PBThe first known contraceptive was crocodile dung, used by Egyptians in 2000 B.C.

Not everyone can afford a gym, but it should not be used as an excuse not to get out walking, utilizing exercise videos, hiking, kayaking....you name it there are tonnes of things you can do without breaking the bank.
