I've ran a marathon before and that feel of finishing a race is amazing.
I can't imagine what this guy is going through. 1 minute he's a healthy young dude running a marathon and the next minute he has no legs.

It goes to show how fortunate many of us are. Globally, people are much more exposed to horrific events like this. In some cases on a daily bases.

Events like this make me really hope that these things are done by individuals with actual brain conditions/defects, rather than by physically 'normal' individuals that are just legitimately bad people...but the older I get the more I think its the latter.
