Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to quickly share my 2012 Transformation, in the hopes it will inspire you with your 2013 goals. As anyone who has done it can attest, it is a very challenging process both mentally and physically. However, if you put your mind to it, anything is possible. I'm am very interested to hear what the fitness community thinks as I need to know where my greatest weaknesses are, as I hope to someday compete. Thanks for viewing.

There is still some extra skin in the lower abs, but hoping that will resolve itself over time. I took a pretty slow approach (as opposed to surgery or a crash diet) and I think that helped a lot as it gave my skin time to adjust while getting leaner. Still have some concerns as mentioned before but hopeful it'll all work out.
I did lift before. I actually managed to get fairly lean back in 2009. After some personal struggles, I managed to allow myself to get to "fat mode". I was lifting on and off during this time but never did any cardio work and my diet was terrible.
As mentioned above, I had been lifting prior to this point and was fairly fit in 2009. I think muscle memory had a lot to do with the results of my transformation, but I dont know enough about the human body to say for certain. Keep working hard, and good luck!
Thanks everyone else for the support, it really means a lot!

Pretty much just ate at a deficit until I got where I wanted to be. About 5-6 months in I decided to start tracking it more closely just to make sure I kept most of the "gains" I may or may not have made whilst fat. I found that nutrition and knowing what you're putting in your body was pretty much the determining factor for me. That being said, as far as cardio was concerned I just used it as a tool to help maintain a deficit. No 2 a day cardio sessions or anything crazy like that. Threw in some HIIT every now and then just to change things up. Hope that helps man and appreciate the response.
Thanks man. Ya I got a great response, especially from those who I havent seen in awhile, haha!

Legs and Back have always been a fairly strong point of mine. Going to be spending a lot of focus on bringing up my upper body to match the lower. Haha my friend works at a gym and they let us snap some shots after closing one day. The lighting was good and there was odviously equipment to get a good pump, so it worked out well. Out of context that is hysterical though.
Thanks man. So many people have gotten in contact with me about how I motivated them to take action. Honestly, beyond the odvious health benefits and aesthetics, that's been one of the greatest feelings.
