Why don't American women know their bra size? Or better yet... Why don't bra makers understand bra size and offer a real variety. Victoria's Secret is the equivalent of a store for herbs and spices carrying only salt and pepper.
I offer my help. If you're not sure your bra fits because the band is tight or loose, the center gore doesn't lie flat or you have muffin boob... I can save you. I will help you find your size and the company who makes the bra for you.
I have too much useless bra knowledge and time on my hands....

Actually, I got fitted by one of the sales ladies at VS last summer...first time I've been actually measured and fitted in a very long time. Got two of the Body Cotton bras there and they are the best fitting I've had since I gave up those incredibly sexy granny bras you buy in the box. And they make my girls look pretty

I just got measured by VS on Friday, which resulted in me throwing money at them for the resulting bras and how happy I finally was. Definitely was way off in the size I thought I was. Also, now I have boobs!
After having worn the same bra for like 2 years, because all others looked teeeeeeeerrible, and there was no point buying something that made me look worse than the one I had, I'm much happier.

You should be in a 28DD. VS doesn't acknowledge this size exists because they want to sell you their bras. You can get a 28 band at some Nordstrom locations. Or you can order them online from stores like Bravissimo, Brastop.com, Figleaves or HerRoom. My favorite mainstream brands are Freya (which run a little loose in their half cups) and Panache.
The ultimate best bras in the WORLD are Ewa Michalak. And they are cheap. You can order anything on the website in pretty much any size. If it isn't on the drop down, email them and they will custom make it for. You can even mix and match features you like from various bras.

I just measured and I'm 28" around ribcage/under bust and 33.5" around bust. I've been wearing 34A, but something tells me I'm wearing the wrong size, lol. I'm breastfeeding and have been buying super cheap bras from target, once my daughter weans I'm going to get properly fitted and invest in good bras. I don't want to invest now because I know from prior experience that my cup size will definitely get smaller when I wean. I can't fathom buying a band smaller than 34, that size is so comfortable, anything smaller than that feels constricting.
On a mini-cut, then onto maintenance mode for the summer.

I found this online, according to the above calculator I should be a 32 E. That certainly doesn't seem right so I'm not sure if it's a good guide, but it's fun to plug in numbers anyway.

The above one seems more accurate. According to this site, I'm a 32 B (or between an A and B).On a mini-cut, then onto maintenance mode for the summer.
