Yamazaki 12 year has rich, full bodied mouthfeel which is surprising for its age. This whisky is aged in a combination of American, Spanish and Japanese oak barrels, adding influences from all three types of barrels and it definitely shows upon the palate. Warm apricot jam, vanilla wafer and berry flavors dance over the palate while an undercurrent of spice runs just underneath the surface flavors providing complexity and depth. This is a wonderful whisky and the flavor profile on the palate leaves one excited for whats to come on the finish.

i'm not exactly used to it either.. but it is smooth as fuuuuuk. feels like a perfect double action revolver pull. you can lighten it to about 4.5 lbs, but i would never modify a carry guns trigger. looks bad as fuk in court. i was carrying a sr9c and the trigger was totally different, barely ANY travel at all and broke extremely crisp. i'm glad those have external safeties, or else they would get a rep for accidental discharges.. like glocks. hehe.

It's not jerky, but it's looooooong. I only have about 200 rounds through it and I've heard it gets better the more it breaks in. I'm used to sa/da full size which is why I purchased this one. Everything in my posession are x service weapons handed down from my father (35 years in law enforcement and he purchased every firearm that was issued). I'm currently in the process to get my ccw and needed something that was easily carried. This thing is a dream to carry. With enough practice, you can get proficient at anything, but if you have something that you don't want to carry it with you it's worthless.
