    Post Casein Protein?

I was curious to what kind of results people have seen from this blend of protein. I take whey isolate now but am looking to take it to the next level. Ive read a couple articles about it and from what i understand is that it is a slow releasing protein that many say to take at night. I tend to wake up daily with muscle fatigue from the day before and ontop of that i am known to get up around 2am all the time and eat a snack of some sort, so i was curious to if this may help with the late night eating and if anyone has notice good or even bad results before i buy it. I already consume an average of 80-140 grams of protein a day.
    Thanks

You don't need to pay extra for straight/100% Casein protein, trust me. Just keep using a blend, or an isolate before bed and you will be fine.

More protein, should be closer to that 140 each day, if not more. Just pick any protein powder that fits your budget and taste buds. Casein is great for cooking, but so are many blends.

Imo, people over think protein sources way too much. That being said, I personally prefer blends, and or casein. San just introduced our new 100 percent casein, and it's tasty as hell. Metaforce is our budget blend, and it's also very good.

Casein's nice for satiety, and if you can get it good tasting/cheaply it certainly works. But it works the same as whey.

The only difference is MPS spiking as opposed to being extended over a longer period of time. Though I believe the area under the curve is roughly equivalent.

TLR - It doesn't matter, go with what tastes best.

I used to keep the shakes seperate so I would buy a bottle of whey and then a bottle of casein but I found myself mixing them all the time anyway. I've recently switched to MP combat which has both. Now when I travel I'm only bringing one powder as opposed to two seperate.

I like to drink my casein (I make it very thick) when I've got the urge for sweets - I actually love the taste and it satisfies me for a while. You don't need it though.

Ive read studies for and against the use of casein over whey at night. With that said I personally use casein before bed at night and use a blend (combat) for post workout shake and a "snack shake" in middle of day.
