Thanks to Matzah I'll be logging Nitrix 2.0!!!
The Requirements I've been asked to follow are as such:
Test for at least (1) week each for the log:
1.) Take 6 tablets 60 minutes prior to training.
2.) Take 3 tablets 60 minutes prior to training and take another 3 tablets immediately post training.
Protocol #1:
It's all about the pre-workout pump and helping expand muscle fascia to help facilitate muscle growth. The pump also increases nutrient delivery to working muscle tissue, helping spare muscle glycogen and protein. This in turn helps set the stage for a faster recovery.
Protocol #2:
This is a more balanced approach for pre-workout pump and faster recovery; this is the protocol from the directions on the package. To speed recovery, you want to eliminate metabolic wastes produced from training; one of the best ways to do so is by increasing blood flow in the muscle. The faster you can reduce metabolic waste, the faster creatine stores can be replenished, muscle tissue repaired, etc.
So we want each logger to try each of the two protocols for a week and the remaining 2 weeks of the log can be done in whichever fashion you prefer the best.
Short Bio:
Former Higher Power Rep, Promera Rep, Ergogenix rep. I decided that I just can't dedicate the time to being a rep and am now just focusing on following some logs and on the training.
I am a pastor in the Free Methodist Church and believe that exercise is a valuable tool not just for a healthy life but for a healthy spiritual life as well. When I get a clergy shirt that should fit nicely and is instead twice the size it should be ... that's telling!
I am a former gymnast and got into weights after high school when I went to a college with no gymnastics program but a great gym. I got into bodybuilding in Seminary in 2009.
Current Program:
Mike O'Hearn Power Bodybuilding
Progress So Far:
So far I've seen some great numbers, better strength, and overall thickness. My Hack Squats have gone up from 340 to 400 in these last 5 weeks on the program, and my squat reps have increases dramatically at 250lbs after the seven sets of heavy hacks. I started at 190 week one. My incline bench press went from 220 to 250 so far, and the last time I did deadlifts I was at 430. I'm currently struggling to get back there but only because I've been inconsistent with my back days.
Goals for this month:
Hacks: 450 for 2
Incline Bench: 260 for 2
Deads: 460 for 2

Welcome
I just took my first helping: 6 pills right at 11am. I'm going to eat some b-fast and then hit the gym. The directions do not say to take with a meal or not. I'll likely be pretty varied as I don't always get breakfast in.Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175642411

Hopefully I didn't let you down ...
*** PowerBodybuilding Update ***
I've done quite a few different training styles but this program is the only one where I have actually seen growth in both size and thickness. "Less is more" truly applies to this program when talking about length of time and volume. The power portions are great for packing on thickness, the bodybuilding portion for size and overall shape, and the isolation / burnout portion for defining shape and aesthetics.
I'm in week five and really thought that I looked bigger and leaner in the mirror. I was trying not to be vain and today I was checking myself out a little on the treadmill (which is directly across from mirrors) and thought I looked bigger and had some good symmetry going on. As I was leaving one of the guys that I see there all the time told me that I looked a lot bigger . He asked what I was taking and I replied, "coffee." He was surprised and asked if I took any protein pre or post workout, which I do not. I've been eating more eggs and chicken but that's about it. I told him about the program and how it's the only thing I've done different recently, and that I've done it before and saw the same results.
I can't speak enough for this program if you're looking to bulk - lean or otherwise. You will get thick, you will get big, you will begin to look like a bodybuilder or will add to your bodybuilding aesthetic.

WORKOUT THOUGHTS
>> Good workout today. Happy with the 250; I almost went for the 3rd rep on the last set but I knew I wouldn't get it. I spent all I had left on that second rep
*** NITRIX 2.0 ***
>>Not much to report today. I didn't feel any different than last week. My energy levels were the same, strength was about the same (I say this because I struggled with the sets like I did last week). HOWEVER I did notice that I had more pump. I actually took a video of myself over a picture as I thought I looked a lot fuller ...

If I had known pritch was going to log Nitrix I may have jumped on that too. I started a new log a couple of days ago....look for it.

If this (insert whatever trivial thing that is upsetting me) is the worst thing to happen today, I'm going to have a great day.

I actually still have 2 tubs of EvoTest. I didn't want to waste the magic. Once I get back to "good" status, I know how to up that to great!
I actually saw the promo and thought about it, but was not ready to take the Evo. I hope to combine it w/ another BSN product later. My current log

I've gained 10lbs I think. I'm steady around 205-206 now. I think with adding breakfast and juicing I should lean out and get to about 210, which is my goal weight. Once I get there I'll begin measuring bodyfat every week and make more changes if my weight continues to go up. Having said that, my abs are starting to pop out so I hope I won't have to tweak too much.
Speaking of juicing:
Juiced: 2 small tomatoes, dandelion leaves (3), 3 leafy greens, 1 medium beet w/leaves, 1c red grapes, 1 large granny smith apple, 2 huge carrots = 24oz juice. I am full =pJournal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175642411
