    Answer mine!

For anybody who has a religion, answer. There are hundreds of different religions; what makes yours real and the others fake? What makes you different from the Aztecs who sacrificed people to their gods? Each religion believes their own is the only true one, so say Islam is the real religion, then wouldnt all Jews be punished after death? But then from other viewpoints, Judaism is real. Then all muslims would suffer after death. So whos right?

From this i believe that all religion is fake

    Not sure if serious.

Did you read the thread? I answered it. You are an arrogant piece of trash. Do this forum a favor and stop posting. The Christians ITT have been very polite and respectful; it's the atheists, especially you, who are being pricks.

It's the faith in your belief. I believe I'm right. You believe you are. You believe in scientists who say the earth was made from either an explosion, or evolution. I believe in the Bible. And scientists that also agree in creation. It's a faith matter.

It was a question of mine to Christians ITT.

Genesis 1 says God created Earth and the heavens. So everything else in the universe besides Earth is considered part of the heavens. Following that logic, how was man able to reach "the heavens" (moon) without going into the afterlife?

"Heavens" in the Bible is split into two. It goes to the original writings. Heavens was sometimes used for the stars and planets. And other times it was used to describe heaven with God. Man cannot reach heaven with God. But man can reach space.

If you can't see something, hear it, feel it, smell it, etc, it does not exist.

The same could be said about your soul.

I have never seen your brain, felt your brain, heard your brain, smelled your brain, or anything. What is there to lead me to believe that your brain exists? Same goes for your heart. And your soul.
Common sense would lead you to believe my brain and heart both exist. It is a known fact that humans need a brain and heart to survive, i am a human therefor I have a heart and a brain. as for my soul, there is nothing to lead you to believe it exists because it does not exist.

You are correct. Darkness is just that. An absence of light. Same goes for dryness. These are absences. If this were incorrect, you could make darkness darker, or remove moisture from dryness.

But as I stated there are also Christian scientists.

And on top of that, evolutionary scientists hold a bias. As do Christian scientists. So using science as a "disproving" of Christianity is irrelevant.

In my opinion, religion is just different ways of expressing someone's faith to god. No matter which religion, I believe it is the same god.

i think "evil" is much too subjective. i believe people are capable of doing evil things and and many would consider them evil but i don't think people are inherently evil. i think people are basically blank slates as babies then shaped by their experiences.

Yes, there are Christian scientists, along with Jewish, Muslim and Hindu scientists, and? It doesn't alter the fact that creationism cannot be scientific, since it cannot be tested, nor observed.

Every person has bias of course... the fundament of the scientific method is that it ignores biases and subjectivity. Not "irrelevant" in the slightest...

No one has ever observed the process of evolution and can't prove that this process is an on-going endeavor. Are you not arguing about your opinion? Does that not make you a preacher?

My point was that Christian scientists will always have different points of view than the Athiest scientists. So you trying to use science against creationism is irrelevant cause then I could use science against evolution. And it gets us both no where.

Evolution has been observed many times in many organisms...

To what degree could you use science against evolution? We might not be able to change each others minds that is true, but the debate is necessary, other wise there would be no progress at all. Galileo was charged with heresey and imprisoned by the Catholic church for saying that the Earth orbited around the sun.. we have come a long way since then (in some parts of the world at least. You still get beheaded in Saudi Arabia for blasphemy).

I believe the man was talking about macro evolution, not micro evolution. Huge difference if i remember correctly.
No reports of macro evolution have been scientifically proven.
