As good as Liam is as Spartacus, the other 3 characters you just mentioned take the cake for best performances. Particularly Crassus imo.
He is the main antagonist in this season and as a fan of the lead character, you're meant to despise the antagonist. But he's so evil and shifty I love him yes homo

I don't see him as evil and I think that's why he's such a good character. I think he's incredibly ambitious and smart. He doesn't do all that sh*t out of evil intentions he does them to rise in power and to command respect no matter the consequences.

Yep. I think they're doing an excellent job of blurring the line between "hero" and "villain" this season. The scene with Caesar and the roman girl who was raped and tortured was pretty touching. Showed a real human side to him.

This. He chose ho's b4 bros. He was Spartacus's main-man this whole time going into battle ready to die for the cause and all of the sudden he turns sides and against his command in an instant, hate him for doing that..but I guess it fits his character since he was against Spartacus in season 1

This season sucks. Nothing compares to the first season imo. Andy Whitfield was a much better spartacus. Also, the show is really going overboard with all the gay sex scenes. I've actually stopped watching it largely because of this. Two guys kissing is one thing, (no homo) showing two guys have soft-core sex is another. I don't want to see that ****.

Andy was a great guy and credit to him but phuck these little ****gy hipsters he has spawned who probably had not even heard of blood and sand until his death who just latch on to the band wagon making him a martyr like Heath Ledger.

And spartacus is for entertainment not historical accuracy, its why you don't tend to find it on the discovery channel...

Liam is great as spartacus and your discontempt is not even an opinion its just born out of some petty desire to fall in with the flock of cultural geese you are flocking to what ever tragic story you can bury your face in next, wonder what other relatively unpopular show will have the main actor die and everyone claim the unfortunate soul who replaces him is the worst thing ever.
