how could i gained 3lbs of weight in 1 week while only eating 300 cal surplus its putting me off bulking,
advice ??

It's glycogen. Not all of our weight is either fat or muscle, it's either body fat or fat-free mass. That's why when you go in a calorie surplus you lose like 5 pounds in a week. Don't worry about it, and learn how your body reacts when you increase carbs by this much.
