    Getting ready for boot camp

    Is this ok for getting ready for army boot camp?
    mon,wed,friday 200 pushups, situps, squats, and jumping jacks followed by 20 min cardio at 160 heart rate
    Tues,thurs, sat 3 mile pace workout. Pacing at 7 min mile.

    going to increase to 300 of all next month and 4 mile pace workouts

    If you're already able to do the above you'll be just fine at basic. You'd be surprised at how many fat bodies there are there. That schedule would be fine but be prepared for sprints (120/60's) and holding rest position on pushups for a very long time.

    this^ just work on pushups situps pullups and cardio

    which boot camp? In the terms of Marine Corps Boot Camp, you are never going to be ready enough.

    It doesn't matter how much you prepare they will break you off, mentally and physically.

    Unless you are training all of that with lack of sleep, without eating, and then doing it, it isn't going to matter.

    The purpose of Marine Corps boot camp, is to physically and mentally brake you. Just to see if you will quit. As long as you don't quit you will be good..

    You can train all you want but you won't know until you experience it yourself, there will be at least one part that will get you. Anyone that says they went through USMC boot camp without hurting one time is lieng.

    But like I said that USMC boot camp, don't know about the other branches.
