I'm red because of some comments i made in a thread, I've got around 8 competitions under my belt and an elite total, went 9 for 9 at my last comp and have never been red-lighted for squat depth. May have been a little high but again the judges are the only ones im worried about concerning my depth.

I've competed in the WNPF, ADAU/100% RAW, USAPL, and my last meet was the IPA nationals.
Also don;t know how you're judging my depth when depth from the front is known to be hard-to-tell unless the person is going atg, and i was wearing sweatpants. Just saying based on my competition history depth has never been an issue for me.RAW powerlifter

difficult to tell depth from that angle as the camera is set high, if it was knee hight you could call depth from the front, would be interesting to see a side view, impressive squat the man some hard work gone into that.
will rep.end of 2013
squat 205/452
bench 142.5/314
deadlift 250/552
2014 goals
squat 217.5/480
bench 155/340
deadlift 262.5/580

best comp total 1250, best comp bench 300...deadlift 530, broke the ipa junior world record with 525@165 a few months ago at the nationals but i recently have benched 350 and pulled 500x5 both at 175ish so i hope to pull 6 plates very soon. And usapl raw nationals idk yet.
*Edit, Also i realize i am just short of 1261 165 competition total for elite classification, but i well surpass that at this moment in time, just need to get another meet done to finalize itLast edited by gettnthere; 02-14-2013 at 02:17 PM.

Reiterating what everyone else said, crazy high. Why would you even say this is the first time you squatted 500? It's your first hip/knee bend with 500...

Wasn't retarded high but about parallel.

Starting to remember why I stopped posting here for years...I wasnt asking if my depth was okay, this is clearly not a competition as well it is a gym lift and the first time I got under 500 I am well aware of the requirements of a squat in competition because I compete regularuly. Iv gotten a lot of negative comments and criticism since I started posting videos of my lifting here about 5yrs ago and yet in person and at competitions respect is given and ive received nothing but positive comments. Why would you come in here just to tell me I am squatting high in your opinion instead of respect for a good lift .are we not all brothers in the sport? Support each other damn...im sure some genius will come up with a whole story about how im wrong and how I suck but keep on hatin

Powerlifters support each other. The fact is your highest competition squat is 425, then you come on here wanting to show off to everybody with your 500 squat RAWWwwww. Fact is, a lot of guys have been busting their ass off for a 500 squat for a long time and could probably hit a half squat like you just did at 500 and put it on video. But they don't, because they want it to be for real. Even in training, it isn't considered a squat unless you're at least close to parallel. If you don't want criticism, don't post stupid videos.
